I don't think I've ever played against Bob the Newt, but when Fractal Wave is playing, watch for drops. If he's zerg watch for ultras. Fractal Wave is the King of unorthadox... We played a game once where he went for ultras and dropped them on my expansion while my army was razing his. Irradiate DOES work against ultras if you don't have a huge force to engage them though. Irradiates on all of the ultras have a tendency to overlap and after a few minutes of this, you can wear down the juggernauts. Mass science vessels vs zerg are a good thing... looks like BadMamajama isn't a total newbie.
As usual, nice report AQD3. I'd probably play more if I could find a partner willing to carry me to victory like you seem to do. Mark4 is good, but he yells too much, and Johnny Vegas is on vacation.
You mentioned a game vs Whoop and someone... did he kick your butt? Whoop is really good despite the tendencies of his troops to be a little, "light in the loafers".
Fractal Wave is a good player, but I don't think he's at Whoop's level. I don't know about Bob.

One thing struck me in this report. The constant use of dragoons at the end when he was attacking the crackling defended base. It's a lot better if you mix in archons or zealots in that sort of fight. Even one or two will fix the crackling attention while the dragoons concentrate fire. Reavers are even better... You would be best off using all archons and zealots actually if he didn't have the sunkens.
That badmama guy obviously knows his tricks well, pulling out that dmatrix irradiate sci vessel stuff. That's a little of the old school trickery from way back. Nice. |

| Good report. I'm glad that people have been fooled into thinking I am good. To answer the question did me and tmac win .... the answer is no. Tmac was rushed by early zeals and was heavily damaged by the attack. Despite my best efforts to play terran vs 2 toss I was finally killed. There was some really shitty lag caused by observers that made me play bad but it also probably made them play bad too. Wierd every time I partner with tmac he dies to an early double. This is probably because he hasnt played enough hunters games and learned how to survive rushes. I dunno. |

Damn 50 lings roasted at the ramp? Why didn't they retreat, its not cowardly move. But anyways this is a good game. Like to play u guys sometime soon. To increase my level of play.
Hmmm 11 temps with 3 storms each together w/ goons vs zerg. This magnifies the imbalance between the zerg vs toss. Zerg overlords should have an upgrade that reduces the effects of storms and irradiates. If good players abuse its use, zerg will really have a hard time. Temps kill everything (burrowed, cloaked, ground and air). I guess the problem is either low casting cost for storm or high casting cost for broodling.

I had holy and woozlez for my fun partners:)
And I had this 1400+ guy, but after like 10 guys and my brief hiatus from Starcraft, I seem to have lost him:(

ADQ3 we never heard of you and then you begin assaulting us with all your kickass reports. What I find particular in your reports is the way you discuss strategy and that you give little tricks. It is particulary usefull for us common mortal that are not stracraft gods like..Mark4 of course! Anyway you seem to be a real machine at producing those and I encourage you to keep em coming!

Very sweet material=] I loved that Sci Vessel trick on the drones. Is the d-matrix to keep defenders at bay long enough for them to die from irradiate, or what? Sounds like it works occasionally...;-)
Anyway, I'm glad you don't report on dumb games. I was tempted to write up one of mine, because I won. But when I look at it, the guy couldn't possibly have won, so it would be a pretty boring BR. Plus I didn't use any imagination.

Indeed...this was a fun game...I was wondering how long I could hold off 8 gates of goons with solid cracklings..
AQD3: I'm sorry about the whole pausing thing...but those 60 lings were going to you, when you paused. You said nothing. 1BMJ unpaused, and me & bob didn't even know if you were in the game...we decided to hit 1BMJ, and his 9 rines & 3 meds proved >>>>> than 60 lings.
In all seriousness, could you have stopped 60 lings cold? Regardless of your answer (hey, maybe you could have, you played damn well there), you should at least talk everynow and then.
