Ohyeah, if you want people to post reports here, you should't shiton their reports when they post them,even if it's not the best.and going for the gold every single time, who cares, not everyone will be able to. when people start they are not that good but always get better, so lay off the guy and whoever else posts a crappy report, otherwise you won't have any new posts, like me i will post soon when i get BW back and a good game and it's gonna SUCK!!! but as to my comment above i can't stand those type of players

| yeah I did turtle but come on I had only been on bnet 3 weeks or so. I didn't mean to turtle I just sort of did after I lost my expansions and couldn't get any more. I guess it was one of those things where you had to see it. |

ok maybe just maybe I am missing something in this report...like you killed 200 carriers? ok...I can kill carriers and with various methods (cloaked wraiths,lockdown,mass valks etc..) how did you do it? If you offed so many how?? I read reports for various things number one for enjoyment and secondly to laugh at johnny and YRM et al. no honestly I read them because I like to see strategies employed by others especially if I have a problem dealing with them . this report was at best vague and you did a lot of killing you profess but how? what did you use to mass destroy carriers? you say he had no detection and you used cloaked wraiths? ok I can see that but he didnt learn from the first attack? If that is the case then your opponent was either incredibly stupid or 12

Yeah like I said he was dumb, oh course I'm the one who lost the game so I guess that doesn't say anything good about me. I killed his carriers in a variety of ways. Early on I used wraiths (he usually only had one observer per fleet until late game when he started catching on) and stuff like that. Later as he was assualting my base I used turrets newbie style and lots of lockdown and emp. I also used marines, etc.. Basically this was back in the early days when carriers were really bad. They had like half the hitpoints and cost twice as much. I didn't kill them all at once either. Every five minutes exactly 8 carriers came, I usually locked down 4-6 and the rest died to turrets and stuff. I used marines to take them out too because they only had one armor back then. He just sent wave after wave of them and I generally only lost one or two units per attack, that is how I was able to kill them so cost effectivly. I wish I had a screenshot of that cannon field, the combination of cannons and pylons was 40 buildings and covered several screens.
Oh as for how much map he had, well I think he had the bottom and the right, maybe the left. I had my main, my natural and I mined both of the islands about halfway I think. We were both using the mineral only expansions sometimes too. The map was running dry and I was hoping that I could keep my bc and an sv alive when he ran out of money. Then I was going to slowly yamato him to death. |

| Just two notes. #1) Even if he did turtle, IT WAS A FFA!!!!! When was the last time you found someone who didn't turtle at all in a ffa? With that aside, funny report there Glak. Talk about ineptness. Now I had a little question, I may be wrong but I was under the assumption that if you killed a unit taking 2 supply, that was equal to 2 kills. If not, then the scoring would be WAY imbalanced. ;-) Okay, I'll end now... c ya. |

What u talking about? In ffa, if u turtle, u win. Why would u want to win?
You do not get 2 kills for a unit taking 2 supply. You get 1. Carriers are exception, same for reavers (maaybe cuz of interceptors/scarabs) |

Interesting, if the chances weren't so outrageous I'd say that I know the guy you played. He told me about just such a game once where all he did was expand, build a gargantuan mass of cannons in the middle, and attack with carriers and archons. He also complained about how he lost buttloads of his archons to EMP.
Anyway, strange report. I can't see where you went wrong either. I didn't know the map contained the money necessary for the expenses that seem to have been incurred. |
