| Hey Johnny or Mark, how do I upload pictures? I set the button to send 5, but nothing happened. Also, I get an error from Netscape every time I send a report, saying Javascript line 71 has no properties. Then the page after has the ad, the header graphic, and the navigation bar to the left, but nothing else. |

| sounds like a really good game. No disrespect Mark but from other BR's I've read it says you've been slaughtered in the early games and had to been saved by Johnny. I know you're probably one of the greatest on Bnet but I heard some people mumbling in nohunters that you owe your fame to Johnny... I've never played a game with you and probably would get crushed if we did play :) but I would have to say your early strat of going straight to 'goons wasn't very sane but hey it would probably have worked if you weren't rushed. Anyways goodluck in future games and I hope I haven't made anyone mad. |

| Now I wasn't sucking up too much. I just happen to like this site. And Mark4 and Johnny_Vegas did tear up. But I must admit that Mark4 would have been in much more trouble if the other players had pulled off a decent rush. say 3 more zeal and 4-8 more marines. That would have been possible. |

| Hey Red-Smurf, Mark4 kicks my ass any day of the week. If anything I owe MY "fame" to Mark4. And BTW Mark4 and I got our asses kicked a couple of times this weekend. Sure, they were against 1200+ opponents, but is shows we aren't unstoppable. |

Actually, I do owe all my fame to Johnny. He's a much better player than I am. Probably better looking and smarter too. In that game though I used a build I usually don't. It was in fact my terran killing build for 1v1, designed to get tech quickly. I wan't going for dragoons, I was going for templar, but I needed troop count when I got hit and the archives hadn't warped in yet. My only concession to safety was the shield battery and three zealots.
Johnny does have to save me a lot. I'm more vulnerable early game than he is usually. But isn't that what teamwork is all about? I let myself be vulnerable because I know he can cover me. Not that I can't still take a double rush from most sub 1100 players without blinking with my normal build.
As far as Johnny and me 1v1, we sit at about 2:1 in our games in my favor. But Johnny is a better team player than I am. If I had the choice between having two of me in a game or one of me and one of Johnny I'd pick Johnny every time. The sum of our playing styles is greater than the parts. |

| I never disagreed with anyone about you two being good players, half of battle net can't be wrong when they choose people to brag about and whine how they are so good :) sorry if I offended anyone with my post up there, was just asking a question of Mark. |

Heh funny comments section. Also I read this classic report again on 9/1/04.
Mark4 always was the better player, especially post 1999 at which point he kept improving his skills and I languished.
Later on Mark4 carried me in most games, but I was a capable partner usually. In 2v2 he not only played well but would have the time to think about strategy and relay "what I should do" to me, heh. |
