Great report, whoever you are! I don't play Tiberian Sun, but it sounds like a kewl game, and you made the report come to life even without pics! I sure hope we can see some more of your works here as well!

Lots of questions.
I am in no way a TS expert but I see something odd in this report.
1) How can he be nod and has disc throwers??? Isn't that GDI unit?
2) I think may be you should recon a bit sooner or send more units on recon because normally I find my enemy when I have my far factory done.
3) Rush to stealth generator, is that a good idea? I think I have tried something like that and in my experience it leaves me too light on defence. I think the stealth generator is a too high tech unit to rush to. It is a bit like rushing to the Obs of Light. (Or rush to BC as terran in SC) But that is just my opinion.
4) If you want to rush to suprise, I have found that rushing to stealth tanks is actually viable. Of course depends on his recon and stuff.
5) About the MCV thing, yeah that is a bitch as nod. As GDI, I normally fly my MCV and so I can expand like crazy but nod has it worse when it comes to expanding. It is this aspect that gives GDI a strong edge vs NOD. A GDI that doesn't out expand a NOD cannot beat it but GDI can out expand a NOD if done right. NOD expanding with that slow ass MCV is defenitely not a good idea. I normally need to use flame tanks or artilleries and lots to tick tanks to guard it if I want to expand.
6) Haha! Funny when you get the tiberium cloud. :) Too bad :)
7) Hijecking harvester is neat. I got to try that someday.
8) Finally, just want to say that TS doesn't keep me going is mainly because the game is soooooo long. You can't really rush much and the game drags on and on and on. Sometimes you just want a quick game and stuff but you just have to be patient and sneaky al the way in TS. (It is like having to have at least 4 bases and do a massive tank push or massive rolling nuke to win, to those more familiar with SC.)
Anyway, good report. It is the first decent TS report here. |

I'm gonna guess and say the reason your pictures didn't upload was because:
a - they were over 50K
b - they weren't jpgs
c - a and b
Once you get that down, your pics will upload. Anyway, this wasn't a bad report. Keep trying. It might help to give a brief rundown of what a unit is or whatever for those of us who don't know the game.
I guess it's a bit harder for non-starcraft reports right now because the units and stuff are a bit unfamilier... but don't let that discourage you. People might be swayed to buy the game if your reports are compelling enough. |

TS isn't that long to play I have won battles by destroying my oponent's CY with banshees and nuking their power plants..

| good report, TS rocks. rushing to a tealth generator isn't that great of an idea unless you don't exactly RUSH (as in building nothing but whats necessary) i've been playing TS and its addon since they were released and its certain death if you rush to a stealth generator. your enemy can just deploy an MSA outside your base and shell you with artillery (or in firestorm with juggernauts). you should concentrate more on loading cyborgs and a cyborg commando in your sub apc's engineer rushes work only against newbies or ai on level 0. otherwise that was a nice report! |
