I'd like to see some comments on counters to this counter...then some counters to the counter to the counter...and then, i'd need a beer cuz i'd be too confused from thinking about counters to counters to counters. The commando marines idea is a good one. A couple queens mighta helped him (but with all his gas going into guards, i'd be a tough trade off...150 gas per queen plus researching ensnare and broodlings.) ensnared marines don't do so well, even against lings/hydras and especially against guards. Anyway, what do i know? i'm just a stupid headless clown with some wacked ideas.

Halfway decent report, but there were too many spelling and capitalization errors. IMO if there's enough of those errors it detracts from the report's quality overall. Obviously one or two is nothing but alternating between i and I and spelling a lot of words wrong is bad. It makes it look like you just threw it out here without proofreading it.
So therefore this is not an 8. I don't think the report was even all that great either because you basically said who was gonna win. Sure a new strat is nice but that can probably be better posted on a strat forum instead. Oh well.

That is a good idea, because I have been losing to muta/ling/guardian far more than lurkers lately. Also, what do you think is the best unit to go for from your starports, to counter early guards:
wraiths - Hit and run vs guardians =)
Force speed upgrade for cloak detection =)
die to mutas when they have detection =(
Valks - Take range advantage with hit and run =)
Can completely dominate air if you get enough =)
can't kill guards quickly =(
Must have armory =(
SVs - Irradiate crushes guards =)
Good against non-air also =)
slow to build and save mana =(
gas =(
It really is a tough desicion of what to go for.......

As I've told Ghost~Lizard soooo many times, this report was just another example of an excellent story shot to Hell by lack of html and pictures. Why do you two insist on doing this Kak? I mean you have a great BR to tell but you make it look like crap. And Bob, your wrong. Just because he's French is no reason to have spelling mistakes. The fact that English is is second language should give him determination to get it right. Just because you can't spell words in English doesn't mean he can't either :P

u said linghydra isn't that good against medarines. then what would you recomment? i mostly use linghydra power builds with queens or defilers, and they really aren't too good til you get dark swarm or the Green Goo.
IMHO, guards cost WAY too much, die to easily, etc. and ultralisks are simply unaffordable except as defense breaker.
Dark swarm is the best counter in my opinion. what do you guys think? |

| The arguement is, that with pics and html they could be 10.0 every time. The writing is good but becuase of lack of effort or plain lazyness, this never happens. But we are straying of the topic at hand which is kak, and how he needs to add pics to spice up the report. People like praetor who have superior writing can get away with no pics, but in reports like this one, pics are needed to help show wtf was going on. Besides, pictures just add to all reports in general. |
