| I like the report. I have one gripe (sort of) though. The big ass pictures are cool and everything, but they interrupt the flow of the report to be used a whole lot. I like how, in your past reports, you'd have most of the pictures smaller with the text wrapping around them and maybe one really cool® bigass picture somewhere in the middle to describe a special battle somehow. However, you're bigass pics are really cool, just a little too much for me. |

YEAH! That report KICKED SO MUCH ASS! That was, well, the shit, to put it simply. Man, that was cool to
read, especially the part where you say what happened while I was busy getting pulled off my high horse and shit rubbed in my face. Yeah, AP was pretty mean, but then again, that pink guy... What was his name? He deserved it, after first putting that overlord in my base and making a big mess when I blasted its bloated body all over my creep, and then when he sent that first innefectual 6-8 zling attack that was so absolutely useless you didn't even bother mentioning how a few drones and a sunken colony humped it to death... Yeah, where was I going with that? Umm....
Yeah, those were nice pics, the ones showing my rampant zlings in brown's base.. I really liked the one where the lurker did his job.. I think I remember that one, and I think I winced and ran the rest of my zlings away when he did that one... Which brings me to the subject of ZvZ in FFA's...
Until I was pretty much dead I never even saw AP, the blue terran guy... I was fighting a Z v Z v Z game, and so I massed mutas, lings, and a few hydralisks. But really, when zerg have a chance to tech, there are WAY better units to use Z v Z, I mean, lurkers just EAT zlings, and when given the chance to mass hydras, and if your opponent is in no position to do hit and run attacks... Like if the rotten bastard's camped outside your base under a dark swarm... Well, then use hydras... what I mean to say in this useless ramble is that, in a FFA, when it's not a rush back and forth Z v Z game, don't be dumb like me, don't just use cracklings and muties! Tech! Damn! I shoulda teched! I mean, christ, for the rest of the game I just wanted to jump back in there! IT WAS SUCH A WICKED GAME!
Anyway... Another comment... Everybody's on about how terran are better than zerg and all that... Well, I would say that they aren't on that map, and that terran v zerg imbalance didn't win that game. First off.. as in all FFA's, luck played a huge part... If I didn't pick on brown and waste his main so early, then I think he woulda won... I mean, I musta gone through 6 hatcheries and a hive! Seriously! Uh... let me go back to a big advantage that helped terran win... AP didn't hafta switch gears...I mean..I massed mutas... and the few that were left when AP arrived got mowed down by Valkyries... He could play terran v zerg the whole time, whereas we poor little zerg guys had to fend off lurkers and defilers one minute and then siege-tanks and well-trained black-belt medics who took no shit from NOBODY! That is, not a person gave them shit...
Uhh... It's late and I'm not gonna go over what I've just written to see if it makes sense.
Yeah, so Kickass report... And nice work fellow players, you guys really kicked ass, and yeah, brown, you had a wicked chance at that game I'd say, the way you hung on so long during that massive onslaught... Somehow you held the terran from your second main for soooooo long, I mean, he was tank pushing for, like, 15 minutes and just spinning his wheels! That's what I like to see...
And pink... Or purple maybe it was, because there is no pink (mind you, in my opinion purple should just be called 'navy pink'), you shoulda given me directions to your base.. Nobody and lionlord musta gotten a kick outta my scout zling wandering around like a drunk irishman on saint Paddy's day... He did NOT know where he was going... After scouting 3 empty start spots (getting beat up by nobody's last scv in one, actually) he ran into a cliff and stopped. Then another scout found brown and.. hehe.. my 5 minutes of glory...
And AP, the only one who I know by name... Next time, I'm going RIGHT for your throat.. revenge for the many overlords who gave their lives to you valkyries. I never really got a chance to test your mettle.
Yeah, Nobody, that report kicked ass, I hope you get a 10, and that was one of my favourite games I've ever played, so I'm happy that you were there to immortalize it. See, I think I'd give it a 9.5 because there was no mention of the midgets...

Hey, one more thing... You never really tell us what happened to navy pink... You say that brown couldn't defeat AP, but you never mentioned how AP systematically wasted all of Pink's active expansions and starved him to death. I think he threw in the towel when brown gave up after all but one drone (the pervert) was left, and AP said "Damn I have 80 000 minerals left over" or something like that. So yeah, I'm lowering my rating for it to 9.5 (I'm over the midget thing, and so it went back up to 10 temporarily). Still hope you get 10 though...

Ommfgsfbmg…That is defiantly the best report I have ever
seen. Lucky I have a DSL connection that page loaded in
5seconds. From the start of the report with the revolving
names, to the end with the animated picture
of :::nobody::’s name. Everything was superb. I have to
say graphic wise this is the best ever with so many vivid
colors and so much action. The animated names add a nice
touch. 11.0 material right there. Betters then that Mark4
guy or whatever. GG to all the players… Nevigrofn,
hellish`glory, and wallabystien…it was one hellava game.
At the end when both were attacking me I gave up for all my
mentals were gone. I think that game lasted approximately
1 hour 20some minutes and at the end I was tired of all the
micro management. A few more minutes longer and my fingers
would have fell off and my head would have exploded. So
instead of stressing my self we had some fun with nuking if
u could see. First I did a super nuke to Zerg with d-
matrixed medics / ghost which I guess what not as close to
the super triple nuke in the screen shot you seen. I was
maxed out, then after the nuke I was at 55 units left =).
I never really saw 1 of the Zergs through out the entire
game! Which was quite odd. From the begging
like ::nobody:: said I went for a zerg build, with out
scouting. Usually in ffa’s that is what I go for since
terran infantry owns all. I think I was the first to
upgraded too. I’m not sure on that..but after I had about
12 marines and 4 bats and few medics I rushed for upgrades
since that is probably the deciding factor of my victory.
After that I massed tanks/ goliath/ marines/ medics/ sci
vessals. ::nobody:: took real good notes obviously cause
he explained everything I was thinking and doing. I
decided I would try and take everyone out going in a
clockwise direction starting from my main. I took out 8
o’clock, then 10 o’clock. Then 12 o’clock …going around the
clock till everything was gone. The trouble I had was my
mobility. Everytime I kill a base another one amasses in
the previous spot I killed. I thought if I thinned my
units to all bases I would be vulnerable so I kept walking
around killing bases etc….my head was in a state of
destruction. Luckily I had some good old water and cereal
to keep me going…otherwise I would have deteriorated to
nothingness. This is a game I truly wish I could have
observed… I was lucky that most of the Zergs seemed scared
to attack me. I remember they tested my choke and didn’t
get through. Bats / medics own lings =). So I guess they
gave up and attacked others. Ffa’s really depend a lot on
luck as well as skill. For me I had both =). I was trying
to write a longer wallabystien but I’m tired. It’s about
230am in the morning now….I’m still eating my left over
food from thanks giving. Now I think ::nobody:: will
become famous in the world of br’ing. I saw one of his
other br’s and it was sooo good so I asked him to br a game
for me. Well the first game I played the other guy was
owned I think ( bb_chargon) not sure on the spelling. In
attempt to redem him self we did a rematch but he was owned
again =(. So none of those were br’ed. ::nobody:: came up
with the good idea of a ffa so I decided what the heck it
will be fun. And damn right it was. Ok ok I better go
now I’m talking about stuff I don’t know what I’m talking
about. Ps at the top of the post… Ommfgsfbmg means
OhMyMutherFukinGodShitFukBitchMyGod =)….that is not close
to how good this br is but I had to some how express my
feelings. Arite later GG everyone !!!!

Again, fantastic pictures. Fortunately I'm home on my parents' cable modem so everything loaded fast. I thought you reported the game very well as I know it can be hard to keep track of everything in a 4 ffa. Man, the quality of your pictures amazes me each time! That nuke one at the end was just...ridiculous. =)

first of all send all overlords to toss cliff(save some for detection)

once drop is reseached you should have approx 9 overlords 30 lings 4-6 lurkers and about 6-8 mutas. use the mutas to protect while ol drop since the speed is not done yet. this is usally the game winner move for me and after that everything should be a breeze.

Man this was a kickass report. One of the best that I've seen on here in awhile. I don't think it quite matches up to YRMs reports, but still, most people don't realize how difficult it is to write a battle report on an FFA and make people understand what's going on. I was able to read this report and understand clearly what happened. I have to say that I'm more impressed with the writing in this report than with the pictures. Sure the pictures were great and the load time didn't bother me. But the writing is the core of every report and this report had a great core.

Nice report, I think it should've gotten a 10 instead of a 9.7. It might just be me but I think ap_taktiks's double spaced comment was easier to read then the single spaced comments. How late did you stay up AP? You said it was 3:15 on like your 4th comment then I scrolled down a few comments and saw more comments from you. In my opinion, this gets a 9.5 cuz it wasn't as funny as some of the others out there. It was a helluva battle, and he did a far better job than I ever could, but there are others I enjoyed more than this one.
