| Heh. BGH aren't so dumb that they'll let you rush them, I guess. Next time someone on BGH says no rush you should 4 pool them. Not like you'll know where they are, but you should find them in time to run past their 9 forge warping cannons and hit their undefended probe like to take out the 9 probes they may have. |

| But you cheated. You and your devasting queen rush was a cheap and dishonest tactic that should be banned. Queen price should be tripled and parasite should cost 250. Oh yeah, queen's nest shouldn't be avaible to AFTER you have hive. After all, queens are just soooo imbalanced. |

the most common of tactics for a carrier rusher is to first make about 100 worth of pisi in dragoons/zelots and templar and dark templar and attack and if that doens't work THEN they carrier rush...i lose bgh games ALL the time... when u attacked did he have 200 pisi limit carirers? i doubt it
carriers own :)( next time u play someone in bgh, go to chanel ecfers and challenge anyone in the ecf clan bgh
and yes, they own temple and rivarly other maps too.. peace |

That's gay, rushing means attacking really. Parasiting for RECONNAISANCE isn't rushing=p. He sucked anyway, even when i play my friends on bgh i have 6 templar sitting around before i even decide which strategy to go for. (We crushed my friends on nonbgh so they make us play bgh =(

You're the one that said cannoning yourself in and building a buttload of carriers was an "<i>expert</i>" strat. Don't come whining to me when I play someone who uses that strat and it doesn't work. :p
And claims to him being an expert were obviously sarcastic. If I can do an 11 queen rush against a player and still win the game, then I really must question his abilities.

FYI. Most, if not all, BGH players think that carrier
rushing IS A GOOD (AND VERY SERIOUS) STRAT. I played some
games on BGH and my two team mate mofos thought that I
sucked because I went mass goons with obs support while
they plugged up their choke with 3 layers deep of cannons
and went mass carriers (it was a 3v3). I play on temple
most of the time and I'm not a very good player, but
playing big money maps like BGH just takes most of the fun
out of the game. That's why I don't play BGH anyomre.

I'm not saying you dont know this bcause maybe you do. I for example played SC for over a year before I realized that darkswarm neutralizes cannons. So it really dont matter if a toss player had 18 layers of cannons, darkswarm > cannons.
Once me Vegas and Ice lost in a 3v3 public BGH game. We lost because we were messing around and we let 2 toss players build up carrier fleets, as well as Vegas only having a CC flying around. If we woulda had a zerg player we woulda been fine because Devo's + corsair just RAPE (and wow do i mean rape) carrier fleets. But we didnt have anything to stop the 20+ carriers and lost. Oh the shame! |

I usually don't go dark swarm against toss because of storm. However, since he didn't have temps in this game, it probably would have worked... :-)
Truthfully, I was just going to take the loss until he turtled in with three layers of cannons... then I got pissed off and just decided to go ahead and massacre him.

Dref, since you seem to be the master of exposing idiotic strats, I have a request for you... :>
I was paging through the BW strat forum last week (I have no clue why. I think I read every BR up here twice and had 20 minutes to go at work) and I found a strat called 'Orbing' that the guy insisted was the most cost-effective terran strat ever.
Basically it consists of going mass infantry, building about 20 SV's and matrixing all your marines. He wrote about 6 pages of bullshit trying to explain BO and such, but 'm sure you can perfect it. Right? Give us another encore.. =) |

soem1 called em a newb and now won't play with me, because they said no rush, it was 3v3, and it was mor ethen 10 minutes into the game(I had slowed down my rush just to see what type of players I was going against). They made the game and chose the map, they even had it on normal instead of faster for speed.
At 10 minutes I started sending my dropship ove rto the base, me taking the risk that they wouldn't attack, they all bottle upped the front of their base. i dropped my dts over their comsat blew it up and proceeded to take out one player. All the while I had 8 more dts and 4 hts with Psi storm at my base along with 4 cannons. On a side note I decided on dt drop after I saw two terran players and a toss, thus no zerg to send a helpful ovie over. Anyways I took out the next terran 13 minutes in o.0. I was techign up for recall/hallucinate with reavers and goons.
my other two teammates easily handled the remaining toss who had gone the (newb) strat for zealot rush |
