Christ, krebster, when you drop on a protoss (and its the templar-happy Mark4) You really should watch where you drop a little bit more carefull! I think that single failed attack had the most impact on the game, and cost kreb too much. |

Whoa! Highly original, and very well polished. Just like the statue of me that Confessor has =]. Some of those quotes were taken directly out of the game... I'm not kidding. I remember that talk on the phone and push up one at least =].
I really didn't play the way I needed to that game. I saw the hydra drop coming in with my observer, then put three shuttles I had a screen outside my base in different directions so I could see where I was gonna get hit. Then came the insanely cost effective hydra drop defense. At which point I basically started coasting. No more macro for me for the rest of the game =[.
And Dref missed the part where I started talking to Krebster. When I saw the overlords I started saying "Please drop me. Please. I'm begging you." =]
Then my observer spotted a drone for his first expansion. "Please expand there. Please." So after I smoke his drop and expansion I think Kreb got a little rattled =]. |

From paragraph two till after I finaly read comment #39 I have been ROFL. Confessor was the best part of the report, but it's easy to see that w/o him we'd all be just cracking up over some other part of it. Insanly rocking br.
Btw, Imo, Mark4 should never be faced on Snowbound, ever. You could set that map to UMS and give yourself corsairs, carriers, and dragoons for free, force Mark to play 1.01 style protoss and still get slammed hard enough to make you WISH you was mearly his whore.
Not to be worshipful or anything...and NO I don't have a Mark statue. I don't! Stop looking at me like that!!

Awesome report Dref. Just to clear things up, those 2 8's were from a guy who thought the scale was 1 to 5 and the other rater can't use his 9 or 0 key on his keyboard because the glue he was sniffing dripped inbetween them.

| No corsairs vs. zerg on island? What were you thinking Mark4? Anyway, you got the job done but you should have harrassed OL's with corsairs, despite the fact that Krebster went hydras instead of mutas. BTW: Goon drops aren't too smart because it takes alot of shuttles to get a decent force.. harass with corsairs and tech to arbiters! Good job. |

And Mark4, why is it that you hunt around for 2on1s, then decide that the 2 guys who can't take you out fast must suck ass? Like when me and SixtyWATZ were advertising a 2v2, and you say "I'll 2v1" (or something like that). Iwas thinking, Mark's good, maybe he's got a plan and I'll learn something here. So we're in the game with BobTheNewt and some other guy obsing, me and WATZ were like, someone move up. Bob moves up, and you tell him to move down. He does. Ok... so we start.
Of course, we owned. You took out WATZ's main once cause a) he just started toss from terran 2 days ago b)he's not that great of a player and had no detection for yoru DTs and c) After there was no real rush, we both got sorta lazy (you would too in a 2v1)
So what pisses me off is that late in the game you bitched to us about not being able to finish you fast enough and for playing 2v1s (you had a little point there... even though it was your idea, and we even asked Bob to make it 2v2). And to make it worse, you wouldn't play a 1v1 after. You wouldn't even accept when I challenged you for the next time we met. And THEN, a week or so later when I was about to obs one of your games, I kindly agreed to leave/rejoin so someone could change to an obs slot (instead of floating CC). I left, and you BANNED me from the game! WTH?
Jeez... ok so you'll probably rape me 1on1... especially on Rivalry or some other map you know better than I do. But give me a shot, that's all I ask. I don't suck as much as you might think... I would definitly have a good chance on Dire. |
