Seriously though, I have to take issue with your phrase "decimated into a million pieces."
In the original Latin from the Roman Empire, "decimated" literally meant "broken into
one tenth." See, the Roman Legions were sent out to attack the rampaging barbarians,
and they were not allowed to retreat until nine out of ten of the guys in the unit had
been hacked to death.
Some language, huh? When this is a common enough event that they come up with
a word just to describe "massacre" in precise terms.

| I'm still not sure if you were trying to prove that Terrans are as good as Protoss or Protoss are as good as Terrans. And what does "irri" mean and was that thing about being drunk an attempt at humor? The whole thing was just confusing, and it didn't seem like the game was very exciting to begin with. |

One game does not an imbalance decide.
Or, in non-Yoda terms, one game between two ppl with questionable skills (Toss didn't Goon contain, and Terran had 3 bases with only 3 factories running?) doesn't determine whether things are balanced.
I'm not the one to decide it either - I'm at best an average player. But given the stats that only 20% of terrans win ladder matches (Blizz stat), and that most of the losses are vs. Protoss (forget the exact #), there could be some tweaking needed. It will be interesting to see what Blizz winds up doing, and fun to see what new strats come from it. |

| Well ok, this was my first breport, and I am from holland so forgive me my writings. What is up with the paragraph thing? I did use paragraphs didnt I? Simonshaper, it should say decimated^6, shouldnt it? OK, i know, i just obsed the match and it was fun to watch but maybe not fun to report about, well I just tried and I already received some positive comments so I am going to coninue to write breports, next time, I wont make any jokes, I wont make the facts more glamarous as they are, next time, itll be just plain and simple breports about serious stuff. Plus pictures :) And by the way, the 2 players werent bad at all as some of you think, but as i said, it was 4:00 in the morning and these guys were completely tired and drunk. And as fas as the issue goes about, was this a really good example of terran V protoss imbalance? *Sigh* ill be resting my case T_T |

| They really were drunk? I wasn't trying to say you shouldn't use jokes, some of the best reports I've read use a lot of jokes. Serious reports can actually be boring if the game isn't unusual or very intense. As for paragraphs, you did have some, but they were very large. I tend to do the same thing, so I can't complain. I'm sorry if I was rude, but you should do more reports. I'm sure they will get better as you gain more experience. |

| Someone mentioned tweaking goons so they dont "own" so much. This is a bad idea because of hydralisks. I mean heck they pretty much own goons as it is until toss get storm or reavers. Goons dont fair that well verses mutas either without support so mutas rushes would own toss everytime. Maybe something specifically geared towards marine vs. goon would help(if thats even possible). I'm no SC master but I just thought I'd try to keep balance between all three races in perspective instead of just two. |

| I liked your report but you are wrong about terran vs toss being equal. You forgot that a gateway is constructed usually before a barracks, and if not, it takes 4 marines to kill a single zealot, and a fully upgraded carrier can deal 72 damage per attack if all interceptors attack at the same time and a fully upgraded BCS can only deal 31 per attack, and the yamato gun takes up too much energy. A good way to equalize would be to increase marine attack to 8 and hp to 55. That will make it fair vs zealots. That would eliminate the 6 pool rush too. |

| Errr. Bad report. Horrible toss player. Goon contain owns terran. :( Pure and simple. Btw, 55 hp marines would make terran v. zerg terribly out of wack. Terrans have the least problems with cheap pool rushes imo. |

| wraith fighter your actually wrong... see a carrier deals 6 per interceptor making it equal 72 total, however, with one armor that drops to 66... with 2 armor its 60... etc. maybe you should consider this? |
