Sometimes people are just...dumbasses and do stuff that is so childish. Decent report, but all the little tidbits of information made my stomach turn, what's up with that stuff?? Totally unnecessary, especially the fish swimming up the.....whatever. I liked the report but the other stuff just made me sick. How often do you see Terran vs Terran anyway?? Don't think I've ever played that matchup at all, xcept the demo.

The Hyena thing:
The female hyena penis makes no sense to me. How would the male and female have sex? It'd be an evolutionary disaster for a species as advanced as the hyena to have penises on both genders because of the difficulty that exists while breeding. Also, infant hyenas clawing their way out seems so strange to me. Birth occurs because the mother pushes the infant out with her own muscles, not because the baby is bored and decides to climb out of the womb.
The fish thing:
There is no way that a fish can survive in the bladder. First of all, there is hardly any oxygen in the bladder and fish, though they live underwater, still have to breath. Also, urine is highly acidic. Urine has a pH of about 5 while water should have a pH of 7 or so. This means that urine is 100 times more acidic than water. Thus, if the fish is adapted to live in one environment, it cannot possibly live in the other because of the massive pH differences. If the fish is suited to live in water, then the proteins in its cells will be suited for working at such a pH. Thus, if the fish were placed in urine, the lower pH would denature the proteins in the fish and it would die (and vice versa -- urine to water). Urine's being toxic also doesn't help the cause of the fish to live in the bladder.
I'm not saying that you are lying, but those facts seem to be a bit farfetched. Are you sure they're right?

About those facts..
One of my room mates is taking ecology courses at university and she comes home with some pretty interesting little facts. The Hyena thing she was taught in class, I'm hoping it's not a lie. In the report I didn't go super far into detail about how it all works.. Apparently the female pisses out of her penis, and gives birth out of it. The first cub she births has to claw its way out because.. (damn, my roommates asleep right now, can't get the right word from her) the 'cord' or something is only 75% the length of her penis.. yeah, this doesn't sound right.. But yeah, I'll ask her in the morning and get the whole story out of her (She loves talking about it).
About the fish..
I read about the fish in a journal called the Fortean Times which reports about all sorts of crap ranging UFOs to strange deaths (A sixteen year-old in Britain was obsessed with smelling fresh, so he used to stand naked and spray himself with deodorant for hours at a time. Eventually the chemicals from the spray got into his blood stream and killed him.. just thought I'd add that one in there). Anyway, it was here where I read about the fish. It seems pretty far-fetched to me, but apparently its a sort of parasitic fish that usually latches itself into other fish's gills and.. hmm.. I don't know what it eats. But yeah, it's a really tiny species, and it's known to swim into penises and into the bladder for some reason that I can't remember.. But yeah, it kills the host.
Sorry this hasn't been at all coherent, I don't have any of my sources for these facts near me, and it's also really late at night. But yeah, the hyena thing and the fish thing are true. I'll see if I can find the name of the fish and you can check up on it or something.
Also, I think that the fish up the dick thing is rare, it mostly goes for gills. |

About the hyena:
Make sure that you ask how the hyenas have sex. Two penises? I'm not sure how the mechanics of that would work, but I'd be intrigued to know.
About the fish:
I'm wondering if it's really a fish. Could it be more of a worm or a lower level organism? That would make more sense to me, because worms are able to live in more hostile environments (such as the intestinal tract). Make sure you tell me whenever you find out.

Yeah, the umbilicus is only 75% of the length it needs to be for the baby hyena to get all the way out of the penis, so it has to claw apart the dick to get out. After the first pup it's all good, though. About mating, my roommate's ecology teacher didn't know how it worked..
