BTW, for any comp-stompers reading this: you're wasting your time. Exhaustive experiments by me have proven that if you play Zerg vs. a Protoss comp on Blood Bath, a properly micro'd 6 pool rush will own them every time. ;-)
And for any clan leaders reading this and not getting it: I don't think Dref actually wants to join a clan. I think he's just making fun of all the lame clans out there.

If you notice in your 2nd game pic when your rolling over zerg's base, you have like 11000 minerals and only half your total supply limit full :[ If your not spending your money wisely, atleast shrink the pic size so your resouces mined aren't showing :) atleast this way, people might think your gosu or something :P

Oh yeah - an ammusing annecdote (sp?) - <p>
Recently I played a FFA w/ two other players. (One ended in Evil, one in Mitch) Anyway, I told anyone willing to play to come to channel "monkey." I get in there, and, wait, what's this?<p>
Monkey is a clan. Guess I joined one without knowing it. They just add monkey to the end of their names without any symbols or anything. There was one guy in there, and he bailed out when I and my comrades entered. Then I was left with a spambot, which said nothing but <i>"join monkey have a beer were l33t!"</i> I squelched it.<p>
In short: <center><h1>Clans suck!</hi><br>

I have to admit something...
I hate the name "comp stomp". For some reason this name makes me feel sorry for the poor computer. Materialized in a harsh world only to be unfairly crushed, and then deleted. Poor thing.
Also that poor Soviet clan.. I felt really bad for them. Not just like "that's sad", but really bad. You must be a very sad and insecure person to have to play constant comp stomp games to affirm yourself...

I used to be in a clan it had over 100 members full rank system and all but it fell a part through various in and outfighting. Called TIG it was.
It was fun while it lasted. Clans arent all bad but they usually all die. |

| I found a good clan quite easily, I joined one "comp stomp" clan and then I found a perfect one right after. They didn't even test me. There's like 15 people in it that are always on, although we are mostly BGH we still have good skill. Clan finding is sort of hard but u hae to be persistant, You can't just give up the first time around. Clans don't serve much purpose anyways, I just talk to them about Stoner Canadians and their low intellegence. Join the channel clan [d$].(I'm not serious you'd like kick our asses so bad we would forget what game we're playing) |

Well i never did comment before and i guess i should have..but anyway i am from clan NIGHTBREED that got such a bad rap. I wanted to say first off, first impressions are worth alot, but after reading it now i think back and say wow how alot has changed. There has been alot of changes to clan NIGHTBREED and good changes at that. I am not saying any clan is perfect on how they run things, there are always flaws with everything. Clan NIGHTBREED has come along way after that whole "battlereports" thing. If you go only on first impressions then alot of the clans out there wouldnt have the members in them. Alot of people dont even like clans. The leaders have to go thru alot of crap to get a clan up and running. And keep a clan running. We all have bad days and clans all have different ways to play, recruit and anything else. Anyway i am rambling as i do alot. anyway i am just saying dont always judge a book by its cover meaning there is more then one person in a clan. And every clan runs differently. If they didnt then well it wouldnt be fun and exciting!! if you are looking to do battle reporting for someone, we are looking for battle reporters at...

geee... I swear! Ya see, I'm a relatively new bnetter... a newbie, imagine that! Like a babe I stumbled into the "join" section, and was both dazed and impressed by all these players who have, oh my, edited their own maps? They must be good, then. And those clans I keep hearing about? Gee, I won't bother to try joining them, since I'm so new, and I suck, and all.
Needless to say, that was pretty much my first few thoughts during the first week or so. I SO wish i had read sites like these before I started multiplayer!!! Needless to say, one of my wake-up moments was, at the end of that first week, when I beat the stuffing out of two clan members teamed up against me. I believe their stats both looked something like 25-0-2. That was before I realized what "comp stomp" was.

| Hey....what's up? Ok Drefsab, I read your reports about searching for a clan, and I'll tell you, if you want a good one, I highly suggest Clan STD (Storm Troopers Of Death). I've never joined them myself but a couple of my friends were with them for a few months before they got bored and left the clan in search of new things. STD is a very elite clan, and their main channel is Clan STD. If you can get a 1v1 with one of the leaders, I can almost guarantee than you'll lose. Give 'em a try, you wont regret it (I just want to read the report about it to see how it goes). | I'm from Canada, so don't make fun of it. I don't know how old this is but I'll say that Clan DA (Dark-angels) is near the top on top 200 #1 or 2 and it has over 100 members, there are many good players and ranks. If you don't like the sound of that join clan i.c- it's korean and is very gosu. |
