Okay, this was a good report even though it was a total beatdown. Some decent screen shots (although they could have showed some more action... where was the screen shot of anathem's troops getting stasised?) and good writing.
Now I have to do some complaining. If you're gonna do a theme report, do a theme report. Don't half ass it. Aside from the R&S pictures that you pasted over the your screenshots there was virtually no ties between Ren & Stimpy and this battle report.
Anyone can copy and paste jpegs off an R&S website into a battle report. A true master of the theme report intertwines a mini Ren & Stimpy storyline with a battle report. That what I was expecting to see in this report.
Now don't get me wrong. You write good, easy to follow reports, but in this particular "theme" report. The Ren and Stimpy antics distracted from the report instead of added to it.
Anyway, don't take my criticism to heart, I am just one man. I hope my advice was decent and you are able to use it to help you in your next R&S report.

Rock on, Mr. Mediocre. Not only did your new BR beat mine (.5 points, what the hell...), but Ren and Stimpy rule. The best episode by far is "Cousin Sven." When Ren's Swedish Stimpy-esque cousin comes to visit.<br>

Hmm, I for one see that you have a lot of talent for BR writing, can form great pics as well as write fairly well. However, to be frank I find the themes you use detract from the game itself, as Dref said (dref u rox btw) sometimes there seems to be no relation whatsoever. Other times there is too MUCH relation. Just my 2cents (oh yeah, and im not so sure about how u did the final scores thing) great report anyways!

Yeah, I agree w/Confessor and Dref, though you are a talanted writer, work on interweaving the theme into your BRs, so that no part of the report doesn't go with the theme. Unless it's a lame theme, then it's better to kill it now and never speak of it again... (*cough*statueofMark4*cough*)

Great idea, but I agree that you need to integrate the theme more. It didn't have that "insanity" that we remember from the show. Other than that, I'm looking forward to the next one, and all I can say is:

A carrier attack? What's with that? When your control of the game is that thorough, you shouldn't use carriers. You should use arbiters. That's the only reason they have a weapon--so you can demonstrate your utter scorn for a lame-ass player by killing him with them.
Of course, that's assuming you don't go with the tried-and-true probe drop.
Hey--how about using arbiters to recall your probes into the enemy base? The arbiters provide anti-air support for the probes! |
