I was really able to identify with this report. My ladder best is 1059 and I got a vicarious thrill in seeing this ugraded_probe scum get a taste of justice. BZ = Bravo Zulu = good job!

Hmm, since i suck at toss, no comments on the tactics you used, but plenty on what probe did:
1. Lurkers, especially against people like mark4, do NOT win games, the allow you to expand/power.
2. Once you realize you are going to lose you lings in his base (9 pool), use the last few and way point them around the base. Until he gets goons, they are a major pain in the ass to get rid off and great for recon, much better then letting them die
3. Expand expand expand, right after he morphed the first lurkers is the most ideal time to expand, while Mark was "busy" dealing with the lurkers, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT, hes not going anywhere for a while.
Other than that, i like the temp drop on his peon line while you were razing his expansion, very nice. GJ!

Bottom line, what happened here is that Probe got his ass handed to him and it hurt his feelings. When he reads the report the next day he starts making wild accusations about my integrity.
He admits he says he threatened to disconnect. No lie there, just plain bad manners. He says he never cursed at me. The highly annoying spam he kept whispering to me fits into the "cussing out" category for me. I can not recall if there were actual curses in there. Whatever. I could have been a bigger liar Probe. I could have said you actually played with some skill. =]
As far as the rating for this report, look at the report Silnt posted just above this one. Similar subject, equally well written, all text report, and it has a higher rating. Enough said about that. |

Aside from the knocks on Probe, this really was a good report. The tactics Mark related on fighting lurkers without detection and the two pronged assault at the end were well written and helpful.
Even though the last little bit about disconnecting may have been unecessary, there's still a lot of stuff in this report worth reading.

Hey this is funny. We all know Mark owns probe though, wake up people. Probe is a young kid that plays 24 hours a day, Mark4 is a smart adult trained in the tactics of warfare, and plays probably 3 hours a day max. Mark4 wins with intelligence, probe wins because of learned skill, and tons of gaming experience.
