First post yet again. This time I played like I should. The problem is that there weren't enough battles taking place. Not that I'm surprised, since the person only had one expansion....
Nevertheless, this is how I always wanted a game to go : I mad gay expand everywhere, and contain the guy. Too bad it was as easy to do as it was to type.....
Anyone have any ideas or tips to help me learn how to tell a good BR story? Cuz all I've been doing is relating the facts as I see them |

| I think you're on the right track as far as presentation is concerned, but as you pointed out yourself, the game has gotta be more exciting. A one sided game can never really be an exciting read. (Unless it is part of a theme series, like JSH's Adventures in Newbieland and Drefsab's BGH strats of the day.) Anyways, next time get a game that has a lot of action back and forth in it, and I'm sure that you'll make a gosu report. :) |

If you thought the game was boring... why bother to make a battle report about it? As was said earlier, the presentation was good, but my God, the game was absurdly boring and a total beatdown.

you don't know how? Ok. Make a UMS game on single player mode. Use a custom made map where u put the start location and correct color AND start buildings for every player.
It took me 3 times b/c I didn't do it right

| I cant believe that he got a 7. It was boring. In my opinion this site is dying. I would like to see moderators in place. Too many people are posting crap in an effort to gain some fame. I mean the evil eye man and things like that are funny but they aren't genuine reports. pureghetto{BC}r you are really sad. I cant believe you made a fake report. And such a lame one too. |

Apparently, the admin/raters/etc. aren't doing their job, so BR.com needs moderators!
The reports probably was rated 'high' because it was presented in a somewhat nice fashion. However, the game, to put it bluntly, sucked, due to the fact it was one-sided. |

There were TONS of EXCELLENT reports rated this week . . . infact it's ben one of the best week since I started looking in Spetmenber . . . .
Of course there should be some humour mixed in with things, that's just plain fun. After all, that's mostly what this site is all about. And this report wasn't all that bad, just not 10 or 9 material . . . hehe
And this report wasn't rated high. 7 is good for it. |

| |]agomar, Perhaps you neglected to read my post properly. Its a fake report. As in not real. As in made up. As in lame. I agree with you that there have been some excellent reports posted. I would like to see less double reports and build order posts. Moderators would be ideal for this function. In my opinion reports ratings are too heavily weighted towards presentation rather than content as ilustrated by your comment about pics and the rating of this report. I know what my report rating was, but could you offer some constructive critisism as you seem to know know what you are doing. I think a report should be exciting/humorous to read and easy to follow. Pictures help a lot with this but they aren't always available. I think my rating was very fair. Future reports from me should included screen shots and hopefully better ratings. |
