im running 1240x1028 or whatever on a 19 inch, and i still fucking had to scroll 2 inches in each direction (so i didn't read)
but what i noticed was

e) you ruined a collage(sp?) of pictures involving storm and hydras (makes for great pics) by adding some triangular polygon effect or something, so u can see NO DETAIL! (BAD)
f) wtf? you used a stupid prog to write yer report, how gay
g) you linked to a .zip downloadable from geocities. you broke the Terms of Service (ToS) and your account will be terminated in 7 days unless you reply to the email that is waiting in your mailbox. <b><font color-=red>I am 100% serious, go check</b></font>

probe: Jesus fucking christ! There ar reports that say "I beeat this guy325@^%@#$@#%@$#$%#$%^$#^$%^$%^....." and they get less downright "U fucking suck go to hell" attitude that this got! I messed with the pictures to make it interesting, i am sorry if you cant distinguise from a little change in a pic. From where i sit they all are readable. Secondly, yes i know there is little text that tends to happen when I make reports that have 20-some pictures in them, and thats understandable so more text less pics. AND IN FP98 I CAN CHANGE MARGINS! That is why this thing is so damn wide. I am running on a 21" with 1072xwhatever and i had to scroll about 2 centimeters. and the pologon thing was just 2 archons and a ton of blood... I could make it out fine... At anyrate - Whatever. I dont know how to make it thinner and what the hell is with this "no linking from geocities zip files" its a god damn text file! I see reports with links in them all the time!! so what is the deal?? Like WilliamWC3 will have a zip file of all the fonts he used!

OMG, have you guys ever heard of constructive criticism? Give this guy a fuckin' break. He obviously worked very hard on this report. Granted, there were some things I think could be improved but he doesn't need a bunch of assholes straight out flaming him.
Skull, I don't know what dark hole you crawled out of, but please return from whence you came. I've done a search on your name and I can't find anything that you've contributed to try and make this site a better place. Binjured probably spent 6-8 hours on this report and all you have to say is "Stupid ass retard" and "Drop dead you fucking loser". I truly hope that admin has the sense to ban you from this site because we don't need shit like that from people like you.
Talon and probe, you guys were pretty harsh too. Cut this guy some slack. He is obviously trying, which is more than I can say for a lot of the people who have been posting reports lately. In order to keep a quality site here, we don't need to be chasing off reporters who have potential and are willing to work hard.
Okay Binjured, here's my constructive criticism for ya. Take it with a grain of salt as these are simply my opinions.
1) Concentrate more on writing a story and less on making huge picture files. Your pictures should support your story, not take it over.
2) Try to fit your battle reports into an 800x600 screen. A lot of people still use this resolution. If you don't fit the report into their screen they will simply skip it rather than change their settings.
3) Don't use funky special effects that make pics harder to see. Especially a blurry effect. Its hard on the eyes. :-)
That's all I've got. Don't take what some of these guys said to heart. Probe made some good points even though he could have been nicer about it. But just ignore those other guys, skull especially. He's just a low life loser trying to gain attention any way he can.
Keep up the good work. Using some of the advice here, you could easily get a 9 or 10 on your next report. In fact, I'm tempted to give this report a 10 just because of how mean the comments section was... but I won't... :-)

Dref: Well your post kinda eliminates any need for me to follow up on some of these people :) As for your ideas - I agree with them all. I realize that at some points i go a little effects/pic crazy, its a handicpa i have :) As for the alt-text ya it sux... But wouldnt u agree that the "1-pic4.gif" was a pretty funny line? Welll... I did! :)
Cabbit: Ya i know, i couldnt change the margins. But next time it wont make a big difference cause itll have small pics rather than large ones - At this moment iam posting a game that i recently viewed and made a text-only report for. So read it, tell me what you think.

Wow you really put alot of effort into this . . . impressive. For that alone it should get a five.
Some of the pics are really very good, for that it should get a 6
The report has some neat effects like the red status report thing . . . for that it should get a 7.
And that's about it.
I just kinda skimmed over it; too hard to read. Try and make collages on paintbrush, and set the image properties to cover nearly the entire screen. This way, you have limits to the pic size so it'll show on all browsers.
You show a great deal of promise. Anybody who can mix around pics and edit them like you can should really be able to do a good job, say, on his 2nd or 3rd report. Just be sure not to overdo it =)
