Drat. I see a report show up with zero comments. I read it as fast as I can, hoping to get first comment (comments by people who didn't read it don't count), and Johnny_Vegas beats me to it.
Cool report, though, even if the Toss did get thoroughly owned. :) |

Pretty good, may want to consider centering the pics next time with a <*center*> tag, and <*/*center*> tag (obviously without the stars) so they look more aligned :D
May want to include a *bit* more text, and a few less pics.. keep the goofy pics though, like pictures of probes killing tanks.. ;D ;D
Oh yah, you used tahoma.. godly! |

| Heh, well reported. This is why all Toss players will go straight to goon containment instead of zealots & DTs. Building up a sizable force of zealots first, and then teching to DTs, is just asking for a kickin' :-). If he had gone goons, Terran would have never gotten out of his base with those vultures. |

IMO - not that im a temple expert but Temple is about drops and map control. Make the other person run out of minerals.
1st problem. Map control is done with observers or dt with for protos most oftenly. Wraiths for terran, so that the wraiths my cover the map quickly looking for expansions, and if need be attack a newly starting expansion - giving the map controler a mental edge over the other person whos expansion dies the second its created (comsat also but can get you in trouble relying on comsat). Why did neither of them get any air? Temple is a major "drop on someone" map... none of this was done? And no observers or goons after the first spirdermine was found? You dont even need observers if you get goons, the mines will pop up and be instantly destroyed by the advancing goons.
And how does this deal with tanks owning dt's? Tanks generally GET owned by dt's and other meelee fighters - espically dt's due to their cloak. send 1 in at a time after four scans, terran will be outta mana - unless a turret is constructed or a SV present - nither of which were in this case.
Any one unit may own another hence the idea of recon and adapation. Its simply part of the game. When you throw in combinations of units ofcourse the combination is gonna win vs a single unit. So this is somewhat of an Unfair comparision. Make it dt's Goons and templars vs vulchers and tanks - see who wins. Better yet goons and crossairs (with web ofcourse) vs the vulchure/tank combo -we all know the result of that. Comparing these units (and the combination of the terran units) is the equilivant to comparing apples and oranges.
Good job on the presentation though ;) |

Hello.
Anyway, Nj is correct. The Protoss player failed to respond to the Vulture/Mine problem quick enough, and thus resulted in his short defeat. IMO, the Protoss should have tried to hold choke by building a few Cannons along with Zealots and Battery(s) - that will hold off quite a lot of force. The Protoss player never cannoned his choke: big mistake for not taking the advantage of the uphill defense. While making initial defense the Protoss player should get fast Templar achieve, and followed by a fast Robotics facility. Then the Protoss player could start controlling the map. The Terran player's lack of detection should be punished by a DT drop or a templar drop (to Psi Storm the SCVs). Nj is also correct by saying that Com set will never be able to defeat the DT's: sending in one by one is the way to go.
It is true that on Temples it should be played mainly with drops and air units to dominate the map. Corsairs with web can act as both a defensive weapon and a map controlling weapon. It can web the advancing Tanks and intercept any drops coming your way, if you manage them well enough. Drops (with Templars/DT or Reavers), Carriers, and Corsairs can usually break a Terran base easily. As for defense use Templars and Cannons, and some Goons...with the Web's support it's extremely difficult for the Terran player to get anywhere. To add more to the frustration you can get a couple Dark Archons to feedback on any SV. Controlling the map will be the key...the person who expands wins and the person who gets contained loses, it's as simple as that.
Just my thought.
