you know i actually find its a very good strat in TA to build 5 adv aircraft plants and just build level 2 fighters and bombers. I find it alomost impossible to stop a wave of 50+ aircraft when the come screaming for blood into your base. Hills are also no problem for aircraft.
However you need many Moho Mines and at least 1 fusion plant to make this work |

I loved your last report. I have played many games of most varieties in my gaming years, but my favorite of all time remains TA. Please write more. Ignore the mockery of uneducated SC-only "players".
As for the so called "players", you are in no position to mock a game which you never bought, never played, probably never even heard of. First off, graphics aren't everything (not that TA is generally inferior to SC in that area). Gameplay counts too. For example, you may know that in TA, the aircraft are aircraft, not contrabulous fantraptions that can fly through air and space, even though they do not use their wings, and despite the claims that they can also travel in a vacuum, many have no apparent means of propulsion at all. The aircraft in TA will conciously dodge missiles by rolling, and on at least one occasion, I saw one abruptly adjusting course each time a missile neared it. In fact, when I manually attempted to force the plane to its intended target, it was shot down in seconds by the same planes it was dodging moments before. Please, the complete, unabridged TA Commmander PAck is available for $20 now. I urge you to try the game, even if you don't think you'd like it. Download a demo, SOMETHING! And before it's too late. I have a friend who is a victim of Blizzard conditioning (i. e., will try non-Blizzard games, but is extremely suspicious of them), and he thought TA sucked "because it's too slow". What people don't realize is that just because everyone plays SC at Fastest speed, doesn't mean that other game are actually "slow". Give yourself some time to think! Again, SC fanatics, I seriously doubt you would be so fanatical if you actually tried a few other games. And loti, please write more reports.
P. S.: The Krogoth is only in CC. It is white, as wide as a TA Goliath, and as tall as two Commanders. It cannot be transported, except under its own power, and has the following weapons:
Energy Cannon: Blue beam that is like the one on a Shooter, Penetrator, and Annihilator.
2 Plasma Cannons: Low arc cannons that fire with surprising rapidity.
Starburst missiles: Backpack mounted, efficient missiles like the ones on the Ranger, Hydra, Merl, Diplomat, Nixer, and the ARM hovercraft, the name of which I can't remember. |
