I watched this game with him, and this is a very accurate portrayal of the events which went on, especially for a first report. Nice screen shots, though you may want to consider making some of them a little smaller then wrapping the text around them. Also, the end could have been a little more climatic, more detail in the race the two had to destroy eachothers bases. other than that, great!

I built carriers because I needed them. Once terran has 15+ tanks, any Protoss ground assault will die 2x harder than the well managed tanks + gols/vults from Terran. |

Really cool report on two excessively competent players. My only complaint is that the end is summed up way too quickly. I've been in a couple of those "race to kill the last building" battles, and they're pretty intense... I wanna hear about it.

| I was never really in any danger. My goals for each game are as follows: 1) to brutally outmine my opponent, and 2) to dictate the gameflow. 11 carriers sweeping clockwise, 6 protecting my exp @ 3, and a well cannoned island. Sorry to burst your bubble Dausuul :P. Through it all, Kak simply refused to die and had ground control in the latter parts of the game. |

You never really had 6oclock bases and 3 oclock natural for more than a few minutes,and u lost tons of troops on my micro. without carriers u woulda lost, so i dont see how u "were never really in danger" |

Oh, and, this game was a typical TvP flow. Protoss ground troops produced to hold off Terran push and carriers to clean things up. I don't know how much base-defense the Protoss had, was any Terran drop attempted? 2 tanks plus 4 vultures early in the game ready to take out any expansion is crucial for the Terran (mine all the natural but scan the mains). I usually start my dropship assualt when I grab my natural. At the mean time I try to fly a CC to an island. It works pretty well. If the Protoss takes his natural you just cliff seige, the 2 dropships will determine the outcome of the resource race :)

-The fact that I could afford 5 starports, upgrades, the carriers themselves, then interceptors, while you couldn't even afford satisfactory tank support (i.e. massive Goliaths) means that you were outresourced.

-That I could basically concede ground control and only have to suffer cosmetic abuse for a couple minutes tells you who was dictating gameflow. I wasn't afraid to buy Gayriers as I would've been had this game still been in question. It was over when all you had was your main for a 3 minute stretch midgame. Losing two expansions at 15 minutes is different from a player with 7 bases losing two at 30 minutes.
If I had really wanted to be a dick, I would've strolled my 17 carriers over and owned your tanks. Maybe I should have, it would've made for a much cleaner game ending.
-If I wasn't bored, I would've let that bullshit in those two posts pass "dude".
BTW, these statements:

That was a very good report and pleasing to the eye. The only problem I had was that the ending seemed abrupt.
I didn't really think the game was all that close. Toss had quite a few expansions there. You still did a good job reporting the game though.

lol, grimling u got it bad ass backwards at low play toss is so much better then terran cause of Rines vs zeals
i think the terran player was the more skilled in that game, he just did the wrong strat
the toss was going goon heavy (i dunno if he was doing containment) so an experienced terran would have switched to heavy infantry, he could of had 15 rax for his 10 gates and totally smoked the toss much earlier for the same cost.
i truly do think TVP is EVEN. ACCEPT FOR GAYWEB OMG ITS LAME
and i think some how storm should have less damage to terran infantry cause they die if hit (slow and weak), no saving them like u can with hydras or goons and zeals
hmmmmm i haven't been playing enough toss players that go goon contain, guess i've been playing ppl to low of a level and heavy metal still owns them. maybe ppl at 1200 will go goons..... =]

Writing wasn't very good imo, too many exclamation marks and too many grammatical/spelling errors (plyon?). The beginning of the game was pretty much passed over in a few paragraphs, which I didn't like. Screenshots would've been much better had they included more minimaps.
