Well, it was kind of a battle, granted a one-sided battle, but a battle all the same.
It was a good read and although I would hate to see this site turn into a "short story with a moral" page. As submissions go, this was a pretty good one.

Copy and paste is exactly what I did with this. Rught after I finished my paper I decided to post it here to see the reactions. So far it's pretty mixed...

Raider, bugger off. Write a BR about people sticking their heads up Mark4's ass or something... do it well and I'll give you high praise, as will many other people. This is your chance to prove your conspiracy theories.
Spice, I have to agree with JV; this is good work, but if everybody copied and pasted their English papers up here, the quality of the site would change dramatically. It's different if someone writes a piece specifically for the site, because even if it's not directly BR-related, we know that they put it here for a reason that somehow pertains to BR.com (else they would not have taken the time to write it). Get what I mean? I'd give this an 8 for content (you'd get an A- at least if I were grading it), but for reasons listed above it'll get a 6.5 overall from me. Not that this means anything. *snuffle* |
