As for comments about the BR: The writing is just fine. More or less clear and concise, and nothing key is left out.
Visually it is good that you made an effort to use and manipulate graphics, since a lot of people don't nowadays. However the font should be lessened by about 1 point and you should put more effort into making the graphics more attractive to earn a higher rating.
I would give it a solid 6, but who am i...

Good report geez0r. It was very easy to follow and I wasn't lost at all really.
I'd say cut the pictures a little more centered around the action (some of them showed the entire surrounding which isn't really neccessary) and align them to the left or right with the text filling in around it. It makes it look better. And ya I agree, make the font size a little smaller too.
Other than that it was really good. A lot better than my first report. |

when a zerg gets sunkens or hydras at his/her choke, it keeps the protoss from scouting. observers are too slow, so i prefer to use corsairs. thats my thought on it. i was taught that by a friend.

That game shows my pathetic recon and exp skills. 6 exps, i got owned!
My strat was to rape his ols cuz no one ever expects toss air....but for some reason he did.....I wuz hopin he was fast teching t mutas, a mistake on my part, so i abondoned the quick stargate an opted to control his expansions, the ones i saw that is.
I thought he'd put them on islands which i had well scouted, but god damn!
Oh well, now everyone has seen me play, so u all may want to know i've been playin for barely 2 months now! |

Now that I've read it I must comment on some of the things i did.
#1 Took out his natural(well all the drones at least) with a reaver drop on the side.
#2 Took out 3 ols that were sitting around random places with sairs, hence the quick stargate.
#3 The Reason for my goons coming in was i thought he sent almost of his forces to save his exp, becasue it was lookin like it....little did I know that was a third of it!
#4 I had high temps but I forgot to research psi storm, that may have been a factor in his final attack(I am a guy that can micro good enuf at times to kill 2 zealots with 4 marines)
Other than that great report, BTW, I was gonna do a BR on a game, had a page of notes, great game, 90 screenshots, but the colours(Canadian) on the screen shots turned all inverted! How did that happen? OH well, I've done a BR of comments, so I shut up now..... |

Ok constructive crit. -
First...in the opening mini map its good to have the player's name and race using the picture from the final scores. Who had what upgrades?
With the English part...try not to use strong words when stating your opinion, unless its a positive opinion. Try to be less serious and more yourself. A personal report is better than a serious report; take it from ::Nothing:: and Bob-the-newt.
Last but definatly not least is, Don't BR newbies unless they have a good game.

Ah no one reds comments. I spent a page worth jus writing on things he missed, an yet people are still sayin totally one-sided! Jus think if he wasn't so brave as to expand 5 times an say, only twice, he'd have no expansions cuz i hindered two useless during the game.
Then I'd be ahead of him, an a lot of GOOD players expand lightly, especially against nhtr players(on the steady decline of quality thnx to guys like me).
Overall this game was a lot closer than he made it seem.
But since I can't do ANY better I can't downplay his report cuz it was short n sweet.
Man I guess I never realized how much can be missed in a BR...oh well. |

Dude, I don't know what your problem is. I reported it as the game went. The first expansion you killed did nothing, he moved his drones out before maybe 3 of em got killed, it wasn't that big of a deal. And you didn't totally kill his other expansion. I don't want to have you pissed at me but also cut me some slack. This was my first BR.

Yeah, I know all bout recon an stuff, the funny thing was i had many bases reconed but decided to strike the furthest one.
I played one game yesterday vs
a good opponent on straits with toss an totally dominated him sooooo hardkore that I am very confident in my toss game one day later.(5 X score)
One last thing for anyone(besides that i got 30 comments on this BR!) to tell is how many obs u shud have on recon in a game vs. zerg. I had 3, but two were kept at base, while one checked the perim of the map.
One last thing is, Ice_berg, trust me, I don't care what people say, if u ever see me on nhtr I bitch an complain an piss off everyone, that's just I guess a way to relieve my stress a safe way in life.....(man that was from deep inside!) |
