| Nah, it just seems like you tried a little too hard. Subtlety, subtlety is the key. Force regular jokes and it's not battlereporting for fun anymore, it's a job. I still have yet to find that one perfect game that just writes itself and can place me in the "Damn you saw the gayest series of starcraft events ever" hall of fame. |

yeah, that is true. i tried to do much with this report rather than it letting it flow to me..
most of the stuff i write, i just let it come to me... but this one, i kinda forced myself into doing it, and tried hard to satisfy people with it.. i truly think i overdid it..

That would be frightening eh BW-Sux? Not a bad report though. The humour was a little overdone, as someone said earlier, and I think you may haev stepped over the line between funny and offensive for some people (Not me, I have no sense of disgust). I liked it though, I'd give it 7 or 8.

overdoing humor isn't funny. it then comes out being very forced and obvious to people that you're trying to hard. overdoing sarcasm can be funny sometimes, but you didn't do it well. besides what's the point of copying mrbobdole's br so soon after it came out?
the pics could've used a lot of work too. It's not a 2 report though. I'd say it's a 5 report. but since it starred a well known player you get the automatic unfair one point increase.

dude, i think this is a 5 only cause it wasnt shit of a game, the first attack was never retaliated. bob, mog and duck and a few others had their first brs very much like yrm and now they have been able to hone it and do their own style now, so just learn from your mistakes and just dont go over board in trying to make a kick ass report, just do one you are proud of yourself, it will show when u have made a good quality br.

"Mark4 did the overused strategy of warping probes and a pylon." I just loved that line. I was beyond ROFLMAO. I was more like ROFLMAOWSSOOMNSASBHAGICA (Rolling on floor, laughing my ass of while spittle shoots out of my nose, suffering a severe brain hemerage, and going into cardiac arrest). I hate it when people use that strategy, it friggin' pisses me off. I love BRs with peon ownage.
I think you were a little to detailed about the gratuitous sex scene between the happy little probe and frisky drone. This is a God Fucking Damn PG-13 site, ain't it? Let's all do our part to keep it that way.

It just wasn't that funny. Picture this, the report author is "2343KILL$$$!" and the players are "DeathKnight!!" and "IoWnU".
The report would get a two. The difference is, this report had mark4 and Limp... I guess the point was having Mark4 but It comes back to the quality vs fame argument. Anyway, it was interesting to say the least. |
