Hmmm, not bad Napoleic.
I wish I woulda got to see it before you posted it. Oh well.
Background colors did nothing to enhance. Perhaps too dark? Perhaps too light? It was realtively easy on the eyes, but I don't think the text was prominent enough. Experiment around a little, you will find a good matchup.
Your writing is good, but I note a few things. Most of your pics held text that is better left in text and not in a pic. Pics are neccessary for a really good battle report, but the text should be able to stand alone, without any pics, and leave the reader with a clear image of what is transpiring. A clear cut example I saw was the very first battle. Read the text without looking at the picture and see if you could figure out what was going on and where.
Your pics white background was not all that bad, but the yellow Valkyrae on the front pic almost shocked my eyes into blindness. Yellow on White hurts.
Use a different font style or color for your "in the report commentaries".
Only a few spots had some spacial errors. Really use the preview option to hammer out your clumpy spots and provide better paragraph organisation around your pics.
I did like the intro alot and all your commentaries and the credit stuff. And the battle was a good one.

Well, a few things...
1) Black-on-red is hard to read. Maybe white-on-red.
2) 1/4 of the report was the "background" of the players.
but you do have an eye for detail, which is nice.

Cool. It's a good br, and I'd like to comment on a couple of things. First, black on red was kinda hard to read. Why didn't you stick with grey on red? Second, repeating the tags throughout the br was probably unnecessary. It just kinda made it slightly annoying.
However, your writing does kick ass, and overall I think the battle report was a very good one, considering it's your first with pics and html. Keep them coming.

Well Grey was nice but I couldl't tell the diff between it and my teal Curly's so I couldnt test it right (Im colorblind)

Wow, its obvious that you worked very hard on this report. I thought you did a good job on it.
Probably the best comments came from Dr. Z. I'm not going to retype it, but I agree with everything he said.
A few small adjustments and you are in the bright gold category, but for now, I'm going to have to go with a 7.

Well I have to admit I'm a little disapointed with a 7 after I put in well over 12 hours learning HTML, setting up a web site, making the pics, having my br deleted twice before finally getting done... :(

Well I don't know if all the effort is worth it to be let down like this, but maybe I'll get into the mood to do another br some time. And not with a fricken red bg.

If it hadn't been that I did a similar report in the same style about 3 months ago and copyrighted it I would've loved this :/
But I guess all that's old and I liked this br so much it doesn't matter anymore anyway ;)

Gosh Napoleic, I would feel really bad if you never posted again. In my opinion, a 7 isn't a bad score. I think you did a really good job, but it was hard to read and I felt that it took away from my enjoyment in reading the report (I had to select the text in order to keep myself from getting a headache).
I'm sorry if you're disappointed, but its obvious that quite a few people enjoyed reading your work and it would be a shame if you didn't post another report... :(

Well I guess if I watch a good enough game I may. Probly won't be as hard second time around anyways. LoR is having a new tourney, our biggest yet, so I'll probly watch some good matches in that. Maybe Slyph too, so look forward to seeing another Lords Of Rage production from me, and mayber Dr.Zchivago too.
Maybe if you could clarify a few things first it'll help. I can get an uncolornlind person to take care of that end of things, but what about the hard to read part?
I don't quite understand what you mean by hard to read. Is it that you didn't know what was going on, or that my layout made it hard to follow the text? (Like as in the pictures were too scrunched together?)
