My bro downloaded the 1.07 hack. Insert turns it on, home turns it off, I think. I should upload a pic of the hack so you people can check it out. It looks piss-poor.
I've also seen this in action.
You know when you right click on terrain and that circle shows for a split second? Well with the hack on, that circle will stay in the same place until you right click something else.
Also, when you que up units, they'll show up on top of that building. Another gay thing : firebats, when attacking, will emit white circles instead of fire.
Oh yeah, the game runs badly with it on. As bad as trying to run 2 winamps and quicktime while you're playing.
This is funny, 'cuz my bro uses it in BGH matches.

If you analyze the minimap closely. You will notice that Drefsab didn't hack at all. . .Not everything is there. I see some dark patches here and there. Especially upper right corner. He probably knew the race match-up through scouting, and GoldenFingers must have missed that scout that Drefsab sent.

God your intuition owns. I never once said anything about maphack at all. We played another game you never scouted once again. Being terran at that....I think I would want to know what my opponent was doing. You give them colorful pictures of games played and make fun of the unfortunate, the losers. As for owning we all know there is not one player out there that hasn't lost a game. I did have troops, I had six mutas. Not to give away my top secret strats or anything (haha) but when I go random against toss on isles and I draw Zerg, I always muta rush.
With the extra minerals I have, I build 2-3 spore colonies in my main in case you go sairs.
That is the opening I usually take. In our game's circumstances, I had just finished two creep colonies when you dropped me. The minute I saw the two zealots come out of the shuttle, I morphed those creep colonies into Sunkens instead of spores. So I WAS prepared for a drop.
And, in case you'd forgotten, I don't necessarily need ground troops or sunkens to fight off a toss drop. Mutas <b>CAN</b> fire at the ground. (I know this because I've been playing Starcraft for 2 years).

I walled in and did a quick tech to wraiths. I knew you were toss because you attacked me with 1 probe and 1 zealot very early in the game. Once I had my wraiths, I scouted most of the map before finding your main. By that time, I also had comsat. So DON'T tell me me I didn't scout.
As for the rest of your post which was basically just a personal attack against me and how I spend my free time...
I don't spend nearly as much time playing Starcraft as you might think. Starcraft is simply a hobby of mine that I enjoy in the evenings after work. Once again, I am NOT very good at this game. Being a good writer with a few HTML skills does not make a person good at Starcraft. I think that is what bugs you the most. That I beat you down twice and I suck at this game.
You don't know me, you don't know how I spend my time. I think its pretty low for you to pass such harsh judgement on me. I do keep pretty busy. I have a full time job, I have friends, etc.
The only reason I gave you such a hard time is because I have been playing this game (for fun) for almost 2 years now and I've always prided myself on being a straight up player no matter how bad I suck. For you to attack me so personally the way you did really pissed me off. Perhaps my post wasn't the most mature way to handle the situation, but you asked for the screenshots so I gave them to you.
For the last time, I did NOT hack in our games. You lost fair and square. Just admit it and move on.

| This doesn't deserve 8. Take your little peronal disputes somewhere else. Goldfinger is an a-hole for accusing dref of hacking. But when I see reports like this I don't know which one of them is worse. This report was written just to show how godly Dref is and how Goldfinger sucks, if this was not the reason then most of the people here seem to think that. Yeesh. In all the time I've spent playing on Battle.net, I've never yet had serious cause to believe I was up against a hacker. (Well, there was one time when I suspected... a ling rush on Continental Divide that hit me awfully early... but it was more likely just luck.) On the other hand, I've been accused of hacking I don't know how many times.
So, to all the people who shout "hacker" at the slightest setback: If you lose, it's almost certainly because your opponent is just better than you are. It happens to us all. When it happens, you have a choice. You can accept your loss gracefully, like a true warrior, or you can whine and moan and throw a tantrum like a little kid. Throwing a tantrum has never yet changed a loss to a win. Act like an adult and you'll be treated like one.
Besides, if you accept your loss gracefully, you won't be a deformed slime-guzzling putrescent mush-headed syphilitic son of a drunken whore like Goldfinger.

On a slightly related point.
I beat down a hacker once. He had stacked 8 cannons outside his base on a Fastest Possible map. He sucked balls though so he thought he was safe. After my 12 archons (yes, I went archons and succeded) blew threw his cannons he accused ME of hacking. After insulting his allies and saying how he lost because of them, everyone in the game, including his allies, teamed up against him and made him our bitch. |
