In a 2rax build both are pumping as soon as they are built and non stop, also allowing for quick tanks. With 2 rax you get an extra 2 marines, 1 medic and 2 firebat.
The only thing with the 2 rax build is you stop SCV after 13-14, but then a lurker rusher won't have more peons. | | #4 Johnny_Vegas[1554] | | | I go 2RAX, and am stuck with 10/10 supply for a short while my depot finishes.. It seems to work good, but I hate waiting to make SCV's that early. It does give me 2 RAX super early though. I like the 1 RAX, fast academy vs zerg and toss. On LT its doable cause you have a ramp, where you can wallin with your depot and RAX. I think its a little risky though, that's why I prefer the 2 RAX. Sunkens if placed properly would have stopped your "6 pack" cold. I'm in his base when the lurkers get done, and I've already killed most of his drones :) Try it some time.
Good sunken placement would have made me camp out at my choke while I get my 2nd racks and tanks at the same time. Most zerg (good and bad) will try and extend the creep toward their choke or just slam a sunken the fastest place that they can get one down. I dont see too many lurker rushers building many sunkens anyways and anyway the tanks are seconds away by the time i'm attacking him in his base cause the factory comes before the 2nd racks. Kinda different but it works.
I was ballsy this game and when for a depot first. So I had mucho money to spend quick.
And about those firebats, I think they rock too. I got lucky this game and made two instead of my usual one. They made the difference when I saw 12+ lings for defence.
