Ok, I mean this in the kindest way necessary and, at the risk of looking obscenely retarded having not read the other 3 yet, I will ask why the hell did you make this a 4 part series? If you were worried about it being too large tone down the font man.
And, in all honesty, this "report" which had me reading for about 6 minutes, which actually got an EIGHT, is just wrong.

The font size is irrelevant, Its the amount of charcters. The text file can only be a certain size.
Too much text = split report.

i didn't read the 29 comments above me so forgive me if i'm repetitive. this is disturbingly close to the nh atmosphere. if i weren't unknown, i would say justin is me, except that apparently he went to the fictional nh looking for a challenge and not just to flame different people, which is essentially why i made it my "home" channel. it's amazing how far you can go in the nh-community with absolutely no prowess whatsoever in sc and some fast mockery.
i enjoyed this.
btw, how long have i been gone that fox is actually of some importance now? how scary |

of course NH people are superior to outsiders, I mean we can just judge them by their stereotypes, which are plain as day in drefsab's story. We dont need to get to know because they're all the same, we're the only ones that matter. An elite group of SC players we are, we can stick our noses above those "public" players. What are they? Sneering fools? Vindictive homosexuals? Of course they all are, and thats what this story plain shows.
A note: Just in case I was being sarcastic up there... I know typed sarcasm isn't that great though. But we were all CLOSE to what justin was at one point in our SC playing. Maybe not LIKE him, but in his situation yes. I think you're preaching to a choir dref, and its pretty hypocritical. |

Dino, I'm not sure what point you are trying to make or whether you will even read this, but anyway, here goes.
I was not trying to make Nohunters player seem superior at all. Nor was I trying to make public players out to be "sneering fools".
The first distinction I need to make is the difference between people who hang out in public channels and people who hang out in Nohunters. Nohunters is a community of players who know each other, play together, and even converse through forums such as Shock's and Br.com. Public players very rarely meet the same person twice and they are not part of any cohesive community. There is a definite distinction there. Does this make all public players lame? No. And I wasn't trying to say that in my story. In fact, I made a definite distinction between a run of the mill public player and Justin himself in the first chapter. I was not trying to say that Justin himself was your average public lamer.
As for Nohunters superiority, let me just say this. I used Nohunters as the online community in my story for 2 reasons:
1) People who visit this site, also hang out in Nohunters.
2) Nohunters has been my home channel for a year now and so I know about it and can write about it better than other online Starcraft communities.
I readily admit that there are plenty of other online SC communities and a lot of these communities have players much better than myself or any other NH regular.
Anyway, that's basically what I got out of what you said. I would like to see you explain what you think is hyprocritical in a little more detail. If you do that, I can give you a more specific response.
