I liked it a lot. I think I prefered your other style a bit better, but this is still very good. I didn't find the font a problem. The minimap thing was very neat. I'm assuming you got the blizzard map of it and ran a whole bunch of filters over it? Whatever you did, nice job.

CM - Actually it's a bit hard for me to explain how I made the map pic, but I'll just say I didn't run filters on the old map but I rather redid it (it's contours are absolutely accurate, used the original map as background to assure that)
Agent_of_Sol - Yes the Zerg main was pretty much undefended, since he had sent all his forces to attack my main...
T_Mac - Wow I'm glad you like it... About the map - I was trying to keep the text like it was a real war, that's why I couldn't even mention the word "map"... too bad if that cost me the 10 kekek... and yes english isn't my first language... =[

I believe you did a really nice job on making a theme-oriented battle report. You made it sound like you're in WW2 or WW3. I really liked the font. . .it matched the overall theme of the battle report very well.

This was very cool. The writing sounded a lot like Virgil's Aeneid, widely thought of as the most well written epic poem of all time. It was written 2000 words ago and the translation has the epic feel that a lot of the text in this report did.
"Too deep for words lies the sorrow I am still feeling after foolishly losing those men that trusted me as their commander. "
That is exactly like many construction's found in Virgil's Aeneid.
What I thought was cool that we never saw any messages or knew who the zerg commander was. This is a new style that we are seeing, something that I thought almost impossible after so many reports.

I'm glad most of you accepted the way I approached this BR... It's a good thing I didn't get flamed that much for the style of it...
The report was really written under the influence of "The Aeneid", with phrases of it mixed in my text. I used StarCraft's manual as well. This was all done to add to the heroic/WW2 feel of the report, and I am really happy that the idea worked out... I know it is at moments serious, and then sometimes perhaps a bit like a parody, but I hope everyone can make up their mind what they find funny and what serious.
Another thing I should have mentioned earlier as well is that I used authentic russian WW2 photographies.
I didn't mention who I played and I don't think the opponents (including myself) are important, I wanted to focus on the atmosphere more than the action. And dark it is... I don't like that kind of fonts at all but I think it suits the report.
Programs used: Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Microsoft FrontPage.
My native language is Bulgarian, it is a bit like Russian but not the same.

| This is a great br and deserves to be a gold report. I can see that a lot of effort is put in to the pictures and i like that.I would have preferred if the br isn't in capitol letters and that the pics remain as the same brightness and not have a contrast like some(not all). |

um about your game , that was really good game and i think zerg did a very good job as well. I like your try into a new theme, i guess it was a bit too somber and serious for some of the readers here hehe. Cause i like military history, those titles and pictures of WW2 were just fucking great.
