Ok I think I'm calmed down now. I don't play much island Ladder, but I still HATE DWEB on Land maps. Dragoons > DWebbed Tanks. | | #3 Helmintes[1786] | | | What he said about vultures is true. If a player doesn't have any supply chain defense, some vultures can take out a whole line of workers in a matter of seconds. I was surprised that mines work well vs. a reaver drop. I remember once being terran playing in a tournament against a toss (whom everyone there considered to be the best player they ever met). Anyway, this was about 9 months ago, and he reaver dropped me. I had like 5 marines and 2 bats, all I sent and all died. I had no tanks and I lost soon after. If only vulture's mines were an option I knew about... | | #4 Blank[1796] | | Yeah, how come people don't bring up when vulture mines don't work=( I tried stopping a reaver drop with mines, but his zealots took in all the shots, and vultures to crappy against reavers=(

Of course, they are rather handy if you have a good idea of where they will drop, like on Dire where you just put them at the back door landing zone. Hey, I bet this score got so high because mines were in it =). |
