Awesome. About time we got another game report from you, Drefsab.
The match was very good and your commentary/narration was superb; I found myself with the feeling that someone was peeking over my shoulder and explaining everything as I watched the game. The pictures were just about perfect, too...not excessivly flashy, but definitaly more than adequate to illustrate the report. All in all an excellent report.

Great report... I was worried it was gonna be LT all the way, but that last game rocked. You did a good job explaining the map for those of us who've never played it (or maybe played it once or twice). Excellent pictures, narration, etc, and a great game to boot. Only 1 criticism: don't switch from the past tense to the present tense so much - it's hard to follow. I give it a 9.5

Very good report Dref.I love it when you do actual reports instead of short stories.Please write more regulare reports. Your consistant contributions of great reports puts you in a class with only Mark4 as reporters who have time and time and time again proven themselves to have a feel for writing interesting, fun, and informative reports with a real human touch.
You've always had a great attitude and posted some groundbreaking, massive effort reports, like the choose your own adventure reports and some of the sites best series.

Hmm, what an amazing report. It's nice that you can prove to me and others that you can still get down and right a serious report, describing maps, strategies, and even the players logic in such a straightforward yet engaging way.
The lack of flash and sarcastic with only added to this piece. It felt more like starcraft. Don't get me wrong, I love humerous reports to, but with games and players like those, only a grave recounting of facts captures my imagination like that.
It's reports like this that I will always try to emulate, thank you for providing another textbook for the student of the game and of BattleReporting.
Lets face it, Drefsab is everyone's hero (even if they don't admit it ;) |
