Anywhoo, kudos on the background. It went really well with your text. The game was interesting too and I was so hoping that Goddess would somehow manage to come out on top. But sadly, it was not to be.

Dagomar, this was GREAT!
I really liked this report. Intelligent picture-design, and there was plenty of text detail in the report, covering just about every single aspect in the war(you can never have too many adjectives!). It was a fantastic game as well... if it was a real-life battle the casualties would probably be somewhere round the 300,000 mark...
One problem though, the background took too long to load! In fact, my computer timed out as it downloaded it, meaning that ha;f of the text was white on white, meaning that I had to drag boxes over the text, which was a shame, if I had had a faster modem it probably would have turned out very well.
Good Job Dagomar, I give it a nine!
(And I'd really like to be in your nest BR!)

Sorry, your title reminded me of 'Say it's only a Paper Moon'. Cool report too, I liked the background, even if I do think that the one previous to this map worked a bit better (the lava one). It's always good to see Slings manage to win >).
As for alt text, I'm going to lead by example. Watch for my next report in the next.. um... I dunno, 4 days or so. Beats me. Sometime anyway.

That was excellent writing, the like of which is not often seen here. The game ROCKED!! Keep up the good work! I have just one nit, which gets -0.2 - confusing Noun Objects, like in this sentence:
"My Command Center bumbles on down at just that minute, and overshadows the hatchery for an instant, but the merciless brown cerebrate blows it away in the following milliseconds" - it is ambiguous whether you mean the CC or the Hatch, until we see the pictures and think "Damn - he's
still watching the game"

That was a tough game to report on, and you did so really well. Also it was fun to read because you couldn't tell who was going to win. I was torn between a 9 and a 10, I give it a 10 though. Nice work dude!

wow, nice report! very back and forth between the two zerg and even tho the terran was a relative nonfactor (militarily) for most of the game she played huge roles in the underlying mental game, which u captured very well. Kudos to you!

Arrows, once of the cool things about this game is that none of the players truly knew how close it was! You could <b> easily </b> have lost, and indeed should have but for your excellent timing. Kind of gay to post an arrogant comment saying this report on what was a spectacular game ( really it was ) giving my 14 hours of work an 8. That's just . . . bleh.

Looks really nice. Just one thing I noticed..
Personally I would prefer if all the text was withing the twilight background, and not outside it, on that black color. I just don't think it looks good. That might have been hard to do, with that narrow pattern though.

Excellent! I loved this report. It's not often that I find myself cheering for a Terran against Zerg--normally I'm a Zerg fanatic, but it would have been so cool to see that one battlecruiser win the game...

flawlessly reported??? hardly, you didn't have grammar mistakes per se, but you misused large adjectives. You sound like a pro-athlete attempting to sound smart. I remember at one point you describe the map as "brooding" A map CAN'T BROOD! it doesn't have a brain with which one needs to brood.... argh! There were many others, just not any I care to find and quote. This really unnerved me while reading.
A good game and nice pictures to go along as well, just dont try too hard to sound smart or poetic, because you obviously lack the vocabulary. |
