I was wondering if you were going to finish it. I remember from last week when you put up this report on accident, heh heh. Was defenintly worth waiting for. Although some of the animated gifs were a little herky jerky (Meaning the movement, and I wouldn't even know how to do it myself, so I'm not complaining) But then of course it reminded me of them break dancing :). Great job though, I'd expect you getting no less than a 9. But then again, I'm not a rater. |

few tips for ffa's:
dont do build orders, just give a rough outline of what the players are doing. Say, "Hoss goes for a fast metal build, while Toaster whores more than wangsonn on saturday night". Unless its a 1v1 or 2v2, the early game smackdown wont have much effect on the outcome, unless the player is killed or crippled.
also, unless its an important battle or the game is really boring, dont waste adjetives on it, it tends to get boring |

Man that was some crazy stuff. It was a funny and entertaining game, but the minimap pics were WAY too big, couldn't make anyhting out. Speaking of big, This was over 1000 pixels wide. Use that WIDTH=### thing in your table. I'm not a fan of white BG, but it was ok here. Title Translations was an awesome idea. It was a little hard to follow on the map, but it wasn't Lost Temple so that's ok. I think this got a very deserving rating. Now you and me have to get together and do a Turbo NEwbie BR gogogogo

I think I know the problem with your flash code. You have to edit the html so that the src field of the embed tag and the value field of the object tag points to the full url not just x.swf but http:/www.geocities.com/coolguy/battlereport/x.swf.
as for doing my preloading, I didn't know jack about flash before I made mine so I just made this up as I went along but it seemed to work.
add a script on frame 1 that says if frameloaded(whateveryour last frame is) goto frame 5
add a script on frame 2 that says go to frame 1
put your loading scene from frame 1 to frame 2
add a script on frame 10 that says go to frame 5
add a button from frame 5 to frame 10
put code under the button to goto frame 15
start your movie on frame 15
sorry if that doesn't make any sense. its difficult to explain.
