That's ok Testy, I got it covered.
Good report, just a little rough on the edges. Some font formatting, images could have borders, the long long long paragraphs down the side of the collages was a little much for me. Basically, the generic white background with generic black text I don't dig.
BUT, this was a good report. I like the DA's and someone crazy enough to go Carriers PvP.

As far as setting up a background:
I think the popular method is to use a single cell table.
You set the table width to 500 pixels.
And you do all formatting inside the table or tabledata tags. You can set up your initial bgcolor, your font type, margins, whatever all within those tags.
Just remember to Preview, preview, preview.

Hello Rommel, let's take a look at the good, bad and ugly on your report.
The Good-
Good effecient writing that kept me entertained.
Plenty of pics.
A decent game, even if they weren't great players, the game itself was good between them. And was presented in an orderly proficent military manner. Just like how I mount my girlfriend. :)
The Bad-
Pic selection- I don't know about anyone else, but build order pics aren't really necessary. You can just write what their builds were, I don't need a picture of what a gas geyser and gateway warping in to know what they look like.
Also, some of the pics had no action, just units sitting around doing nothing but playing with their toes or formulating their money market accounts, well who knows, all I know is that they weren't doing anything. We likes our action with our screenshots Rom my man, give me my action, or give me death. * Hey, hey, put down the damn gun Rommel, it was just a figure of speech! *
Pic Quality- Alot of the pics were a little dark and difficult to see. I guess I could turn up my bright on my monitor but I'm lazy.
The Ugly-
I guess it's just me, but the humor you said that you would have in the report, just wasn't too funny. It's probably wise to not say that the report will be humorous. I say leave that part out and let the reader decide if the report had funny moments. It's kinda like telling the reader that they can expect to laugh, and then find that they don't laugh is disappointing.
Report card reads as follows:
Writing= B+
Pic Quality= B
Pic Selection= B
Entertainment= B
Overall= B+ (Writing always rules first in battle reports and you did a good job)
Comments- In your alt text about beginning builds being your favorite screen shot, they are the most boring and wasted amount of time. You could simple write what they build and not waste the pic that is, well, boring.
Personal Comment- I liked it, even though I didn't laugh at the jokes and alt text, I was still entertained and you didn't lose my interest. And after all, that's what you want to go for, to keep the reader reading.
If I was to rate it, I would say that it deserves a 8 on writing, but falls back to a 7 for false promises of making me laugh. |

It was a damn sweet br, but my beef comes from the quality of the pvp games...
Incandescense seemed like a good enough player, except he should have won way faster. Carriers and zealots? And he got sooo out produced, blue got what he deserved, a first rate raping.
Most pvp's you see these days focus on either reaver drops or dragoon map control. Rarely do you see a toss go carriers because he knows he will be raped by goon/storm and mc. |

Whats good about this report is your I think your writing style. If you got the design part of a br worked out i think you would soon be writing some 9's and maybe some 10's. And off course everyone knows that you get a bit higher rating if the players are well known.
Anyway, a good report wich earns the 7 it got.
But I cant figure out why blue did not just gogo after those four goons had attacked him. He had like double the army than brown.

i like the simple white background a lot more than those distracting messy backgrounds often used.
you could add something to your pictures to make them look nicer.
I did'nt fully read the text. After i scrolled over the report and saw carriers in a PvP on temple, i decided not to read the whole thing. Maybe you should report more serious games. |

It's good you waited until you obsed a long game, but next time try to pick a game with more attacks, I didn't really read the report very thouroghly...thoroughly, but it seemed like it was mostly buildup, and not too many attacks. The pics were nice, but like someone else said borders make them look better. Also, I'm not trying to say that the players you BR'd sucked, but try to report games between better known players.

pvp is gay, 7gate 2 zeal 3 probe rush owns almost 90% of the time against players of this skill, especially if you try teching to goons as early as a 10 gas
