Nice job. Pretty good game. I always like the PvT matchup games. Especially on non-temple maps. Also good job describing the action. 8.

Pretty good.
Two things though:
1) You said frik had two carriers left... examine your last picture of the carriers... there are three.
2) This is going to sound like a flame, but I'm directing it to everyone at the site, and it's not something new... "People, PLEASE stop switching TENSES in the report!!!" Almost everyone who reports here switches from the past tense to the present during the br, ala "PlayerX decides to go goons. Just then, he found out that PlayerY was attacking his natural!"
That's poor writing and it makes for poor reading. You folks 'round here have all the other basics of writing down, but just about everyone needs some work with that.
Still, 8 because it was otherwise well written, a fairly good game, and not on temple :-)

I'd agree with the 8 rating.
Few things: Your collages should include more actual scenes of the battle, and you might want to report better games ( lets face it, red never really was solidly ahead ). But I loved the image of the reavers crushing the tanks, and the carriers collages were great ( but, you know my little criticism ;] ).
So, good job, and hope to read more of your work soon! |

| actually, wasn't first, I have 2 others (done a LONG time ago). I had completely forgotten how to use PSP, so I was playing around with the different options quite a bit... My next BR should look a lot better. |

One problem.... The one minimap of any action in the game was splotched with gay ass airbrush. I really wanted to see these so called massive factories, but unfortunatly(sp?), it was not done. WAH!
MS Paint is ghee in most terms, but its all I got as well.

Gayrriers win it again. Gols just aren't a counter for carriers. They try, they do ok, but when you can use different elevations, they fail. Gol pathing just doesn't have what it takes. BC's and ghosts with lockdown, thats what can kill gayrriers.

You ask Thanto, and ye shall receive. Things is my game, and Sid6.9 is my name. Now, for my closer look at his report.
The Things I liked-
1. Good introduction, I like it when people say something about the players before the game.
2. Writing extremly done well, good descriptions and plenty of detail.
3. Pic Quality was good with varying sizes.
4. Gotta love that notorious Reaver usage, probably the most underused unit (Except Queens) in the game.
5. Nice back and forth action, just how me likes it.
6. I liked the use of captions in this report, I wish more people did that. It's like telling of what's to come, without actually telling. (If you can understand that.)
7. A few Alt-Texties had me chuckling.
8. Great use of HTML and PSP.
Things that could be changed or improved on-
1. Pic Selection- While all of the pics were worth looking at, a few were unnecessary as they added nothing further to the report. IE. The multiple Carrier pics just flying around.
2. Switching up tenses from past, to future, to present and around again, makes it kinda hard to concentrate on. Just something to keep in your mind when writing your next one.
3. This is not on you or your report, but I really thought Plethora had the game wrapped up, but must have fell asleep at the wheel.

Pic Selection- B+ (A few pics weren't needed, but were still good eye candy.)

Entertainment- B+ (Because of Plethora falling asleep at the end.)

Personal Comments- One hell of a report. I did enjoy it, especially the good use of Reavers. Keep writing reports, you are a natural. :)

Great report... And I would have to say I agree with Korgy (comment #7)! I LOVE games where the terrans get the living shit kicked out of them by toss! And frankly, I think it is high time we clubbed more baby seals as well.
Gimme a break.

I realize it took me awhile to get my own comment in here but how bout props for me dammit, lol this is the first br Ive ever been in!! lol Just kidding. Good job Thanatoz, maybe people will actually recognize me now ive been playing in nohunters forever, lol. Excellent br, ill give it a 9, the only thing is i agree with some of the above that some of your pics could be more of the battles themselves rather than before and after types of things. But my tanks getting blown up did look rather nice. Thanx for the br.
