Really good.. I really enjoyed it.. It was the last bit where the patch comes into play, just when the valks and wraiths came in, gave me the same strange sensation that I got when I watched Matrix at the part when Neo realised he was "The One" after he gets shot..

Hehe, very funny and well written.
I agree with you fixes in ZvT - they all sound very good.
However, I have a question for you about PvT. I have spoken to several top players, and they said that there is basically a guaranteed strategy for P to beat T. Basically its goon containment and mass expand. Sure you lose goons to tanks, but Terran mobility cannot cope with P expansions, and you just run them over, even if Terran plays perfect.
Now keep in mind that this is a way to consistently win that doesn't even involve DT's, or Carriers, and everyone knows how strong those are vs T.
What would you suggest to fix this? Maybe reduce goon range by 1? Or make vultures do normal damage instead of concussive, so they are useful vs goons?
Would love to hear your thoughts. Of course, the changes should not adversely affect ZvP.. |

Tmac -- I changed the "gay" comment on the forum to be from Bob_the_Newt, it's just a reference to another fanfic I wrote (look for "WarGames: Intermission") :-). I knew you'd be a good sport about the kissing thing, that's why I used you against your permission.

There was a really old old movie I watched when I was in junior high called "Kentucky Fried Movie" where I snagged that Detroit thing from. The movie is pretty raunchy tho, but one of the shorts (a farc on "Enter the Dragon" called "A Fistful of Yen") makes fun of Detroit a LOT :-b.
anal-banana -- I'd be happy to discuss actual strategies with you on a S&T forum. This section is just for comments and is poor to handle threaded discussions. Note also that these are not *my* fixes, they are Blizzard's 1.08alpha ones. These may or may not make it into the final, but I think most of them will.
