| I guess I turtled in anticipation of his attack. If I had too many expansions, I would have fallen prey to his attacks. My units too spread out to be effective at all. He could have hit each expansion one at a time and slowly decimate my resource intake as well as my troops. With my ghosts and wraiths concentrated in one area, I would be able to block any attack by carrier fleet. Also, he starts out with a token force of zealots, goons and templars just in case of tanks and goliaths. Plus, the sairs would have rendered the siege tanks completely useless, forcing me to move and siege again and again as his goons take free hits. He then would've had time to build carriers and take out my ground forces. Plus, Goliaths take too much micro to work with. They are sooo dumb. |

Now that's a lesson I don't think many of us have learned. Would you care to teach us more?
P.S. Most authors make lessons learned so one-dimensional that they are totally useless to anyone with a brain. Either say something thoughtful and productive or skip it altogether. thx

haha, I understand that you're proud of your victory, but really, the strategies utilized in this game were absurd.
I find it hilarious that you "knew" he was going to go muta so to counter, you built a bunch of turrets in your base. It probably would have helped if you had attacked him with something before he got those 30 mutas.
And then the second game... sigh... carrier rushing, nukes, wraiths beating sairs. hmmmmm...

A serious reported game on BGH should have the same chance of getting a high score as any temple game? Although I don't support BGH, I realize it has become a large part of the starcraft community, and BGH reporters should not be punished for reporting from it. I mean, BGH do employ other strategy elements than limited money maps, and even offers for some variety from the standard "expansion wars" that many temple games come down to.
Also, I post this more for all the whiners that flame this guy for his BGH game than the raters, and I don't think any rater would rate lower because of the map. Just my two cents... |

BGH is AWESOME! what are u talkin bout, mass carriers is the best strat ever. well, mebbe not as fun as tank push, but till very fun. People should report BGH newbies more often, it funny.

| Yep. BGH makes the newbie. I learned that the hard way. From a bgh record of 28/14 to a lost temple record of 4/16. Above all this is pretty good. I would say it could use some detail. By the way I'm also a new guy, lol. I am planning to do a Lost Temple expert game soon. |
