First impression is it ain't worth another impression. Don't make the mistake of assuming that everyone has as much time on their hands as you do. I come here for StarCraft br's and related material (like your tourney...) and I only have time today to read one report. So I click on you hoping for BW/SC shenanigans and I get something else... So I think the criticism that this kind of material should be submitted to a different sight is a valid one. You'll get a better response 'cuz you'll be targeting the right audience and you won't alienate folks who don't habitually kiss ass. If I was interested in this kind of stuff then I would read it thoroughly and comment on it but as it stands I'll just pass on it.
If all you care about is impressing your friends then email this stuff to them. One of things I liked about this site when I first started coming here was its balance of well written, wide-appeal reports and cliquish, insider attitude. If it looses that balance and becomes just the exclusive "NOhunters" club where only brown nosers need apply then screw you all. I have better things to do with my leisure time. |

I apologize for trying to make my point with a sledgehammer and the next time I react so negatively to something I'll wait a week or two and see if I still feel the same way. If I were writing the same thing now I would have said, "I agree with the point about SC stuff belonging on a SC site and I didn't even finish reading your report because it wasn't SC related..."
