Marine swarms rule!! I often use M&M's as late game base killers. I played a FFA on dire last night, and killed everyone with 5 dropship M&M attacks, with sci vessel support. It ruled. 3/3 marines kill bases faster than carriers for cost. By a huge margin.

Very interesting read... I thought Marines sucked versus Carriers, but I guess they're allright after all... Gotta fear the Marine/Tank Drop! ;)

Marines own carriers simply because they shoot down all the interceptors. The carriers don't have enough time to rebuild them all before they get killed by the marines. Plus the cost so much!

Nice report, although I think you had too many tanks at your expansion (12 is quite a lot). I would kept it down to 4 and used the minerals and especially gas for something else, but good job nonetheless!

Marines rock. I played a LAN game on vanilla with some friends. I decided to backstab and dropped 96 marines in the back of the guy's base. It was pretty darned funny
