mmmm well i dont erally know what to say
your writing wasnt particularaly bad, but the game was pretty terrible. Most people that visit this website arent so keen on viewing newbie BGH games, especially ones with people who turtle, go straight for cannons etc :[
when the games arent spectacular, people usually look for other promising features: themes, humor, complicated strategies by skilled players, good pics or something, but this report was somewhat devoid.
you arent a terrible reporter, you just need to begin to play and watch real games (not bgh) come to channel clan ~Nohunters and obs some games there and come back with an all text report and it may get a good rating

Well I for one thought that this should've got a 5. Why? Well, this was a first try and contained no HTML what-so-ever. That is pretty much expected. Really though, would having coloured names on this game help all that much? No, it wouldn't. The writing was good except I can't say this enough - check through it. Check through it. Check through it. Spelling errors are very annoying and so are things like words stuck together (eg. thenhe or whatthe). Also, a little question. Where are there cliffs on Hunters? Even BGH Blizzard version I don't see any cliffs. Little help here?
The reason this should've gotten a 5 though? For the most part it contained perfect typing. There was humour that asctually was funny. The BR didn't rest on what the players did, but more on how you told it. That is good. It was easy to read and, quite frankly, went down a lot easier than some of Drefsab's reports. If this had contained some humourous pics in it I would guess at a rating of 6+ but that's just me. Keep up the good work but do as I did - learn HTML from the "reporting guides" section of this site. Once that is done you can pray on people's stereotypes of a good BR to con yourself a gold rating. Good luck, young Jedi, and remember - Never take candy from your evil estranged and smoker's-voiced father.

Nah, we won't. Every report needs to be judged on the same standard. Even you first report isn't safe from critical eyes. 8*(

To have a sunken on a cliff in BGH, it'd have to be a modified version of it.
I would say more detail, since it seemed a bit short for a game where you have a Corsair/Carrier death fleet, but, as I reread it, I realized that you probably didn'r miss any detail. The game was simply bad.
Sorry for being blunt, but I'd rate this one a 3. You have a lot of potential, though. Don't listen to Anti-Protoss, there were 27 people in there yesterday afternoon! I'm sure that some people will let you observe their games. I definitely allow observers, even if I'm playing against Testosterone who will thrash me unless I play t vs z on a medium/small land map. ^^

for those who keep bringing it up, i did forget to mention it was modified to have cliffs...sorry
sadly....i got almost all the detail i could, the game had very little happening (it sucked).....if anyone else wants to give real comments, give them, dont care if they make this report look even worse , but most comments will help |
