Well, I seem to disagree from most people here. I found the report hard to follow in several places. "the expansion east of Erad, the expansion south of Erad, and the expansion north of badtz's old main base"
If there was a mini map next to that it would be fine, but almost all the players had an expansion that you talked about then got destroyed and them someone else took over, so it was hard to tell where you were talking about. Next time try and throw in some more mini maps.
The green text was okay, but I found the purple on the black and next to the green hurt my eyes, a little bit with the blue too.
I'd give this a 7-8. Writting was good, just I got lost in a few places when everyone was expanding to someones expansion they just killed. If you did the same report, but on a 2v2 or something like that, I'm sure I would've enjoyed it much more.
Mind you, I could never pull off a 7person ffa, so I shouldn't be complaining.

reasons: it was all about the writing. you cant seem to get your text to flow well. it was jerky and *very* confusing at some points :O the humor fell flat 90% of the time, and even managed to disrupt the flow at times
also, 7 ffas may seem colossal, but often dont produce great games. its usually pretty clear whos gonna win after 20 mins or so :[
also, you talked yourself up the whole time. you talked in third person, but that only gave you more chances to make yourself sound good. if you really want, ill try to find a few examples:O |

'Ya know, I actually found his jokes to be funny...and the report certianly has a lot on "content"....but then again, there's a lot of "content" in he 48-chapter Sonic the Hedgehog vs Aliens fan fiction series, so now we know that more does not allways equal better.

hey ya folks, it was hell of a game..more like madness
well, the main reason i quit during the game was that
i figured me stood lil chance against high teched units of
livingexception with my marines , and i had no expansion
:l . also, there was a friend calling me to come out btw..
well i would like to thank the guys who participated in the game when i offered to host it in the channel, and i wish i could play some games like this often cuz im gettin bored with
all these guys playin Bgh, and others and still suck real bad.

This was the worst report that got higher than a 5 I've ever read. It just goes to show how a good layout and obvious effort gets a high rating even if the writing/pics/pic-placement/game/humor and everything else about the report totally sucks ass. Why would anyone BR a game where the person who won had 2 gateways all game? Typical FFA, an involved 15 minute game and then comes the man who never got attacked.... I had to read many parts of it multiple times to understand what was going on, and you had lots of grammer/spelling/typo mistakes that could have easily been fixxed just by showing the report to 1 or 2 people before you submitted it...
The only congrats you get from me:
1)It's clear you spent a lot of time making the report, and effort is worth SOMETHING i suppose... maybe a 5
2)The underlined alt-text was cute. |

i think he used the font webdings. the speach bubbles are ( and ) and then the thought bubbles are { and }. to get the outline he first did it in black then dialated it(or decreased the selection by one) and then went over it with white text or if he decreased the selection, filled that area in with white..atleast i *think* thats what he did. thats what i do. ^^;

First of all, fuck you BADKITTY. Obviously,you have no idea what grammar is, maybe you should have "fixxed" your own post. I showed this report to 3 people before I sumbitted, and read it over myself. Aside for maybe one or two missed errors, there are NO spelling OR grammar mistakes.
Second of all, LN, I used the object creator in PaintShop Pro. It lets you make word bubbles and a shitload of other shapes. |
