The prose was a little hard to follow on occasion, but the game itself more than made up for it. I especially liked the idea of razing a main while blocking the reinforcements at the ramp with ultras.
Also, to other authors... this:
"GS went for a standard dual gate, then started tech to templars. Sven used the extractor trick, early expanded, and then started a spawning pool."
...is the best way to write a standard build order. We really don't need an entire paragraph describing how FearlessFosdick clones his SCVs to separate mineral patches while training a new one at the command center. Touch on it lightly and move on with the more exciting parts.

Oh, I think I know the replay your talking about. did he make all his DA around the 12 mineral only? if he did i know exactly what you mean about retrded move, toss has game, thinks he won, so takes about 24 dt and makes like 12 DA, so dumb, then zerg comes back and wins. |

Okay, here.. to boost report points, color the players' names whatever color they were in the game. Also, everyone has come to expect all BR'ers to use alt text on every image (although that one has little to no effect on the report's rating). There once was a time when no one used any HTML at all in a report and it was a rare treat when someone would post images at the very end. lol
I think everyone's favorite trisexual newt was the first one to use alt text in a battle report here.

I also saw the replay about a month before the report was made, and for all intents and purposes GS012 won this game. Sven lost and turtled on the islands, so GS quit playing seriously and started screwing around. It really doesn't matter what the victory screen said because just about any skilled player would give this game to GS. Oh yeah, sVEN is EUROPEAN. ^^

Can you make a better one? Another note to the people who gripe about grammar mistakes...you shouldn't judge a battle report on its grammar or it shouldn't even be taken into account for its score unless the grammar is unbearable. Respect the report for its content and how well its written, not the technical aspect. |
