this reminds me of when i played bgh, fun times. Even though it was on a "wicked" map and your talking to people who occupy a channel by the name of "No Hunters," it was still a good read nonetheless. You have great skill as a writer, able to make a otherwise boring replay into a good report. Better than most of the new temple reporters nowdays. *sigh*
I liked it, and it looks like it took time to make. Put in a few pictures and touch it up a bit and it wouldn't be half bad :]

just a couple things. #1 - dont waste yamato on crap like cannons. save them for other capital ships.
#2 - dweb doesnt stop ghost from nuking i THINK. i read somewhere u dweb, d matrix, darkswarm, surround with medics or scv, then float a building over a ghost and it'll be pretty much undestructible. only something like another person's nuke can kill it |

Yeah, report wasnt that long, but its still 6 pages of reading
with no pictures. Yeah, I dont like BGH that much, I usually
play non BGH, but I dont think it sucks or anything, its just so
overplayed that it gets boring. Yeah, BC owns carrier, Strider somehow thinks otherwise. But damn, you guys are critical.
Its just a frickin report, get over it. It would be better if I
had put in pictures, but im not a hardcore reporter, this is
just my first report. Predictions? What predictions did I
make? BGH is overplayed, its a fact, just like Lost Temple is
overplayed. That doesnt make them awful maps. This is just
a game I played when I was bored, decided to make it a
report. Wish I could have recorded all the things being said,
it was so goddamn funny I was crying. |

Oh, I did save yamato, but I wanted to move quickly cause
1) I was trying to prove that Terran are fast, something Strider was hhooting off about;
2) And I was afraid of reinforcements, wanted to take out his
nexus and get out.
Most of my shots were at arbiters tho, I didnt include that
for the sake of time. |

Im not a good player, I know some people who have like 1400+ ladder, but Im not one of em. I dont think that ought to come into play on my writing style, I wrote the report mainly just to see how I compared reporter wise, I already know that I suck in comparison to the hardcore players. Just clearing that up. |

Fuck what other ppl think. I may not like bgh, but i have
played some very good games on it. I thought that was a
great report, and a desent game. Anyone here who thinks
this is a sucky report just cause it was on bgh, ought to
be straped to an electric torture chair and being shocked
with mild amounts of electrisity whilst being tickeld in
the foot with a feather. In my opinion, lt is just as bad
as bgh, cause its so overused.

That line was:

If you feel like trying your hand at writing a report on something, write it on something good.. not something involving bad players. :\ |

Ok, I shall say this, not to be an ass, but to give advice. Don't report on BGH.
You may find tactical games on there that are just as intense as on regular maps, but they are much rarer. Also, people at this site tend to hate BGH and flare up whenever it is even mentioned.
You have good style, which is always a big bonus, and I didn't see any reason for pictures to be included. When people start putting pics in their reports, they start letting the pics tell the story.
So, if I were a rater, I would give this a 7.
Due to the aforementioned facts that most of the people here dislike BGH, I think this will receive a 6 at most.

Wasn't that appealing, but to answer your question, yes, ghosts still nuke under DWeb. Even if they didn't it'd still be easier to kill them then to dweb them.
Although I am not a fan of BGH, I'm still with TerranMahem (you do mean Mayhem, right?). Still only a 5.5 |
