It was kinda annoying having to use my bottom scroll bar as well as the side one though;(
Damn it, too bad a Terran player got knocked out, would have been nice to see one win the tournament.

| 1280x1024 res is nice on my 12" monitor =) Anyways, both times ahscar collected more than 2 times the rescources as OEP. This is the tactic of expand and defend, or just basically, "powering". I'm not sure whether EOP could have done anything except madly expand himself, as he did try to attack early in the second game but didn't succeed. A 12 marine 4 med rush on Ahscar might have succeeded, then again sunkens on the plateau really make this kinda of attack ineffective. An early tank push might have suceeded, but who knows. Power games tend to get boring, but are real effective on an opponent who doesn't keep pressure. |

But actually, quite a sad thing is that my other house in Vancouver only have a 13" monitor. =( It was pretty old, cuz it came with my first 386 computer. hehe. |

| Not to put too fine a point on it, ahscar is in technical terms "damn good". OEP isn't. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from this game. |

Hey mark, it seems that you have taken my decision to make you rematch in my tournament personally. BTW, if you have checked your e-mail I have revoked this decision, good luck in the semi-finals. And I am interested to know what you thought of my performance in that 1 on 1 we had today. I am sorry I lost my internet connection, but I think a rematch is called for, I will be on tomorrow, and you know where to find me. And just to keep on the topic of that BR...
I grossly underestimated ahscar, I thought I might be able to beat him at least on the map that I used to be really good on. Anyways, that was a great game, and I look forward to <i>watching</i> ahscar play as the 1 on 1 tournament continues. |
