| A game where people don't make many mistakes (i.e. they keep macroing, they keep expanding—especially hot are games where someone uses ungodly micro or a really slick idea and owns the other with it). |

| Oh, and generally it isn't much of a game if one is totally kicking the other's ass most of the game. And also, it's a lot better if there's constant action (instead of long periods of them just sitting and building up). |

I disagree a little with what you said Twip. A good game, for me, is when all players are superbly matched against each other (ie. it could be the 2 best players in the world, or it could be 2 slightly-above-average players who consistently play intense games with each other).
For instance, a report that I'll be doing after my current one is finished was a 2v2. The only expansion of the game was mine, and it was knocked down before it came online. However, every second of that game was heart-throbbingly intense. At any moment I could've died, or my partner could've died, or our enemies could've died - it was just great.

This is the first battle report I have read in ages. The pictures were really well done, and the report was good, to bad the game wasn't :.
As everyone else said, find a better game (i seemed to have the same problem when I wrote BRs, finding a good game) and well, your ratings will go up. |

That's what a good game is - for me at least.
Anyway, this report: A bit of a letdown in terms of "oh, I know that guy..." It was enjoyable enough, but you didn't seem to get into the game too much. A closer game and more in-depth coverage would = 9 or so.
This, however, would be a 7.

Although the pics were nice, it seems that you used almost as many pics as you did 4-line paragraphs. Not good :(. Pics should supplement a report, not BE the report. If the rep is too short without pics, don't use it. 5.

| I would imagine the symbols mean something vulgar but i'm not quite sure. Whether pictures should only supplement report is a matter of debate nowdays methinks, i usually enjoy picture reports more than the text only. |

Hi All,
What do you mean, "I exceeded the 1K character limit"? What!? Are you folks trying to tell me that I'm too wordy? OK, I'll try keepin' this under 1K then... Everyone repeat after me: Maneuver Warfare Theory. It's the notion that one can defeat his opponent without completely destroying them. It's what makes folks surrender when their defense fails, the sh*t hits the fan, or they simply lose their nerve. The 'Toss player here did just that with three carriers that the Terran couldn't counter in time.
On the flip side, I plan to write my own reports some day, and I've got little knowledge of adding flashy pics and the like. Expect some decent all text reports from me in the near future, folks, and let me know if I should or shouldn't quit my day job... =)
