| Poor grammar made the action really hard to follow. "...he placed a sunken to the upper top middle of his mineral patch." I had to re-read that part once or twice and I'm still not sure I get it. Pics were nice, though. Wouldn't rate it too high since the text was... Bad. Probably a 3 or 4. |

The idea with the dots around the pics was good, but it looks like you used mspaint to do it...but the main problem with this report.
I think you need to focus more on describing the emotion or tension in the game. The text never made the game exciting, since you merely listed what happened.
Try to put in things that make things look exciting:
"While playerX was just struggling to get his expansion up, playerY attacks! Although things are looking grim for playerX, he quickly reacts, and microes his forces, pulling back heavily wounded goons, killing as many foes before they die. Simultaneously, he brings over his reaver, and manages to unload it just as the last zealot dies to the hydra's spine attack...."
This will at least make the player look good, which does help a lot...
I'd give this a 5.5. Good try, a few things you need to improve, but promising.

The color made the pics look like they came form an old movie, that was cool, but the writing was very "blah."

The pictures were not bad but could use improving...the text... it seemed you were rushing through it and trying to post it on a record track time or something. If you took longer to write it and more detail the action would be easier to follow....also when I was reading it, I thought you were jumping around and didn't explain it well.
I would give it a 5-6.

What is this? I thought english class sucked and would never come in handy but looking at this report makes me think. The grammar sucks as bad as his spelling. Spend a little more time so we can understand. |
