Ah... as I said, I don't usualy use those units. =)

Although I think the names are a bit confusing. Defilers (those scorpion looking thingys) can consume units. Devourers (those things that fly in Brood Wars) just shoot spores.
<p>
Oh well.

Templar = High Templar using Psionic Storm.
Well, that's all I saw when I got to that screen - 1 High Templar blasting my forces. He may have had a stronger force (i.e. Zealots) but I guess my defensive forces took care of them before I saw his attack group.

I had an extractor there the last time I looked at the base.
The next time I looked at it, I only saw a single Templar (storming my zerglings) and the rest of my base minus the extractor.
So what exactly killed my extractor? i don't know - it sure wasn't the psionic storm though. Thanks for pointing that out.
Throughout the game we kept attacking from two fronts simultaneously. So, I weren't able to hit the space bar on the last "we're under attack" transmission since it occured in two places at the same time.
Wow. There's lots more to this battle reporting that I still have to learn.

Oh, no, keep the Defiler. It's a perfect name for the little crawling bastard.
When I get a Plague off on a big group of Carriers, and I see the red goop splatter, and that wonderful powering down sort of sound, I can just hear those Toss saying "Ewww, we've been defiled!" It is the worst sort of violation one can experience... 10 Carriers turned into 10 flying Zealots. |

| I usually forget about plague altogether and go for the dark swarm and zerglings (against cannons and goons) or swarm and hydras against carriers. Consume is way cool as well, but too slow when you need that swarm there like, yesterday. |
