| Nice first report as everyone has said already. Gold? I don't know. First of all grammar was alright I guess, however you did make some mistakes. Like one sentence you said "he wouldn't stand a chance against these highrollers, but these decisions where not of my choosing." where? you should've corrected that. The game seemed kind of rushed, and even though it was good that you gave us build orders, you weren't too specific. You told us that homer put a ring of spores around his base, but somehow he was still able to get mutas at roughly the same time as everyone else? the pictures were okay I guess, but some were obviously altered around badly. Like the nexus in the beginning is way too stretched out from top to bottom. Yellow text on white = bad, even if the player was yellow at least put it as like dark yellow. From my perspective all these people seemed like noobs and not "high rollers" but that is just me. Other then that it was okay. 6-7 probably, maybe 8 if a rater is feeling happy today. Or then again...maybe not :)

| This is a nice first report. Better than mine, IMO. I'll just tell you a couple things wrong with it. Nothing critical, just a few minor mistakes. Yellow on white is hard to read. Too short. Needs better players, don't worry about rushing to get your report in. Take your time to find a really nice game. It's worth it. Otherwise, very good. Keep it up. |

I remember back in the day when a report like this would get an 8, how things change...
Solid sub-gold report. Game was not the greatest due to the fact that the traditional battles for very few expansions on Polaris Prime just weren't present. When I read a br on a FFA on Polaris Prime, I'm expecting a long, drawn out battle while players compete for a handful of expansions. This was a very short game, with a handful of skirmishes that led to an unclear victory. Frankly speaking, I couldn't keep track of who was who, and I didn't understand why the second to last player surrendered.
In addition, when you report later ffa's, please include screens of the minimap periodically. Here, there was one and only one minimap screenshot. Your bad grammar made me stop and reread the sentence, which I personally don't like doing. The worst example of this is the fact that you used bad grammar in the sentence explaining why the second to last player surrendered.

For me, it took a total of 3 tournaments and hours on nh trying to find the "perfect game." Don't just log onto bnet, observe a random game, and save the replay. I wish you luck in future reports

I really hate to flame, but I feel as if my I.Q. has been cut in half simply by reading this comments section, not to mention the report. Also I hope you are both under the age of ten, your costant misuse of words such as were , where , now and know are really bothering me. I hate it when ppl lecture about grammar, but there is some sense in trying to make things readable, and to get across an idea or message. Please read over whatever you submit on the forum on your report or in the comments section.
Also dont question ratings, this deserved exactly a 5 to give this anything higher than a 6 would be a slap in the face to any reporter who ever wrote a gold report.

As for criticizing the Battlereport, the point of pictures is to portray critical actions. So on that note you needed more pics, or better ones. Also the game was to short and seemingly one sided. Yet your reporting style is leading me to wonder if you even understood what was going on in the game. Like someone said someone built a ring of spores and still had mutas at the same time ? The grammar and writing need ALOT of improvement, and you need a general frame, or progression in the B.R. itself. Things should have a beginning middle and end. Not a slow jerky start and then a middle-end together and then a sudden "lessons learned".
