| just use paint for the graphics. All thats necessary really is cropping the screens to fit and if necessary putting a border color between the shots in a collage. PS or PSP are imo useless for BR graphics when considering their cost compared to free alternatives such as MS Paint and the GIMP. |

1) A good player will never assume that someone is new because they are acting immature. I always scout no matter what and only become cocky when I see the initial build (and I'm not even that good).
2) In your "what is your strongest race section" you forgot one response... No response. That is how I would respond if someone asked me if it was my strongest race. And honestly, your opponent's responses to such a question would tell you little. That's pretty much bullshit.
3) Saying damn / fuck / whatever would have no effect on the average player because a scouting peon would soon discover what you had fucked up and whether it would have any real consequences on the overall picture.

All that being said, there's nothing wrong with trying to fuck around with someone's head. I've done it myself many times. One good method is to play pubbie games with a girl's name. A lot of guys would rather chat with you than win the game so that helps sometimes. But honestly, in a serious game, this kind of shit won't work 99% of the time.
Still, it was well written and was different spin on reporting so I'll give you a 6. |

I think the easiest way to make someone think you're a newbie is to simply say, "no rush?" or something like that. Only newbs want to play games with no rush.
Unfortunately, none of these strategies work if you've been playing for a while and you've racked up a bunch of wins on your account. |

| Well, Dresab I understand your sentiments on why these strategies would not work, and in cases of extremely talented and cool-headed players like yourself, it would not work. I forgot to make the disclaimer at the top. Many times it doesn't work,even on lesser players, but I find that it makes the game more enjoyable and engaging otherwise. I'm sorry man, but the first half of the report really made me lose my interest, and by the time you finally got to the BR itself, I just really couldn't sit there and actually read it. I felt like I had A.D.D. or something..

| Lets see, good report, I wish people would do more things like this, there were a few mistakes, here and there. For one, the common misconception that Goliaths beat Mutalisks. I think your opponent would have been better off going with Marines if he was worried about a possible Muta incursion. But all in all not bad, and I hope you post more. Also you seem to be competent enough to make white text on black background, so I assume that the absence of pics is just laziness. Im not sure how the raters view it, but imo no pics = no more than a 6. The fact that you got a 6 says a lot for your writing. If you want to get gold with no pics, than you had better write like George Orwell. |
