I just spent 20 minutes reading the report and the comments, and I have come to the conclusion that this is one of the most saddening things that I have ever heard about or read.
First of all, Sven may be dead. He may not be dead. There is nothing to prove it either way. The comments themselves either say that this is a big hoax, and should (heh) be flamed, or that it is just as likely that it is true, and offer condolences (sp?). I'm not really taking either side, but I do admire the compassion with which some people here are offering their condolences, even though they risk making fools of themselves if it turns out that this was just a sick joke. Why was this posted here? It would've been much wiser to inform the handful of people Sven was close to through other means. Instead, well, you see what happens when this information (in this form) is exposed for all to see. Logic dominates emotion over the internet, I will stand by all of these people with "no class" since I did not know Sven that well.

Sven sounds like a great guy, I would have loved to have met him. He's the kinda guy I wish I was more like, it's a shame that he didnt have many school friends. I wish we coulda played togethor, I really coulda used his help with my training (I sucked)
Forever_Knight this was a great thing for you to do, although I know you will probly never read this as you wrote the memorial 2 yrs ago, (It is Oct. 19 2004 now) but if you do I want you to know that this was a great thing for you to, I wish somone would do somthing similer when I died.
Again, I am sorry for the tragic death, and I am sorry for all the idiots who don't belive you.

| I've run across this page twice now. So 4 years later I've finally decided to post here. Dragonsven, rest in peace. I enjoyed our time playing together. May this memorial remind of us all of one of the nicest players we ever met. |
