110 damage per second is just silly. Lasting for 7 seconds, it can take down almost anything. Try it like this:
Have the enemy "corner" a lone BM in a clearing with 1 entrance, so everyone is within stormage range. Then, bring in some grunts, and rear attack. Use a potion of invulnerability to protect the hero. With the enemies all in a tight clump around the BM, penned in by grunts, unleash the storm. I've got a replay of an entire NE army (heroes, hunts, archers, dryads, all) falling to the attack. Just an idea.
Now you see where the Ghost quote "Now reap the whirlwind" is pointing to... |

If the orc player was building shamans, why the didn't he purge the infernal? Undead are the only race without a good counter for infernals.

| He was focused on his main, building units rather than micro'ing at the creeps... I don't think he even noticed I was attacking him until he was already dead (at the mana fountain that is). |

| interesting report, i found the pictures to be good but the text to be a little lacking at parts, as in i had to skip through sometimes cuz it was boring. (the creeping parts). What does purge do to an infernal neways? and can you use abolish magic on infernals? Anyways other from that it was a good report, i think it is a solid 7 or a kinda solid 8. |

| Purge (O), Dispel (H), and Abolish (NE) do heavy damage to infernals. UD only has the banshee shield for anti-magic, and this spell is strictly defensive while the other three races can use theirs for both defense and offense. |

| They do have magic immunity, but those spells still affect them. I've confirmed it more times than I can count with humans - I assume because it just deals straight damage instead of having a spell effect. |

#27, you're absolutely right, I wanted something short and with a purpose- this isn't supposed to detailed a long, drawn out battle of vast armies. I thought it was explained well enough in the first paragraph but for those of you who skipped it because it was too boring must have missed that. |

Ah, nice to see someone posting more than just one time.
Anyway the game was suck. We might learn something, but it was goddamn boring. Not that I dont like educational reports (ehehe) but this had no "meat", no sugar, no cocaine to rock my boat.
In case you aren't completely getting me here, I'm saying you need a more exciting battle with more man on man action instead of creeping.
And yes, those games do exist.
On to the positive then. Your writing is good, pretty good. Im not even sure if the MS paint pics were needed, although Id prolly bitch about it if they weren't there :(

Nice report. One thing on the creeping though. "He has poor success, however, and manages to kill only a single of the creeps before having to retreat." In the picture right after that it shows an ogre killed and a treasure. I believe Ozz's attempt was to kill just the treasure bearing creep, then take the treasure while the mirror image took damage. I've seen reps of pros doing it before. Good for early on when you can't just creep whole areas by yourself without the troop count.
