Great story. I enjoyed experiencing life as an ant. My only question is, what was the ant 'sailer'? I thought it was a roller skate, or maybe a skateboard. Also, why didn't people freak out when they saw the ant houses? Or were they just regular ant hills?
As a sequel, you should have them battle with a group of Red Ants for control of another 'promised land'/

Actually...
They weren't supposed to be ants, despite what the intro makes you think. They were supposed to be really, really, really little people. But you can think of them however u like, I was vague on purpose.
The houses went unnoticed as they were small and made of grass, inside a very overgrown grass lawn; noone was going outside very often.
The sequel is going to be a wee bit more epic than that, but it will involve a battle. I'm writing the prequel first though. |

Wait... how long has br.com had popups and ads instead of quotes? I mean, if the site costs too much it's necesarry, but i'd very much prefer the type of advertising where stuff is just linked too. Popups slow down the site wayyyy too much.
Oh yeah, very nice story.

| Fun, but there was only one idea--little people--and it wasn't enough to drive the story all by itself imo. But it was a nice quick read--there wasn't anything to dislike. |

ALL:
KK, in order to make the story a little better, I hereby declare the 'Little People' to be Ants. =p
Anywho, the Sailer is a roller skate (old fashioned four wheeler) without an ankle and with a woven grass sail stuck to it.
The beasts of the Gods are lawnmowers, the Gods are humans.
The Black River was a well-tarred road, like the one in front of my house. The tributary was a driveway, also like the one in front of my house =p

| Nice story. Has the same idea as three books by Terry Pratchett, writer of the Discworld series: 'the Carpet people' about some little folk living in a carpet somewhere, 'Diggers' (forgot the story line there) and Truckers, small people living in an abandoned wharehous, until it's to be demolished. They then flee in a truck. btw Terry Pratchett is the absolute most hilarious fantasy-comedy writer I know sort of Dougla Adams style in case you're wondering. |

lol, stupid ants got stuck in the garage.
I didn't read the entire thing, as it was annoying how it was broken into a sort of log. I thought it entertaining, and could follow it easily, replacing Little people terms for our own things. (Gods=people, beast=lawn mower, etc.) GJ Epoch.
And to #26, yes this site is called Battlereports.com, but many reports on similar strats aren't always very entertaining. Something new and refreshing like this is always welcomed by me. If only reports on "mass 3/3 medarines/4pool ling rush/etc." were published, this site would quickly become old. While there are great battle reporters out there like YRM, CB, and Mark4, it is nice to get something light like this. |
