1)I understand you might not know how to make screens, but its not that hard, and you should find out.
2)Run it through a spellchecker. If you did, sorry.
3)I have nothing against text-only. Just look at funnymarx. But for there to be a text-only, the words must paint the picture (screenshots). If your writing skills are not that great, you should try to improve, or see comment 1. |

Okay, I'm going to comment on the *report*.
First, the game was mediocre. It sounded like you had some very newbish players. People here generally expect reports to be of games played with a fairly high level of skill. I don't see anything that distinguishes this game from hundreds like it played every day. It sounds like you knew it was bad, so why did you report it? |

The main points have already been said -- you need a better game and a better text. Starcraft reports are hard because people have been reading them for 3 years now, and expect something great or even out of the ordinary in reports now. A report on a random game between so-so friends just won't cut it anymore. Try finding a good replay and see what you can do with it. That way the game will be taken care of and you can focus on your writing.

| Um-Try to NOT report a game where 2 scouts and 1 zeal take out 11 marines. How does that happen i cant even visualize it. If you do report a game with such and occurance at least try to point out the humor in it instead of saying "omg i cant believe the n00b, rolf" etc. Also you seemed to put little effort into making your report a good one. It's not that you don't have talent, but rather you said to yourself "this is my first report, so if I don't do well, it's no big deal". Instead of having that attitude put some effort into your reports so you will at least get constructive criticism. At least then you wont have to go through about 35 posts of flaming/spamming to find the few constructive comments. Again, I didn't read enough of your report to determine how good you were, but try to find games vs decent players (non-pubby) to report. |
